After keeping Arpita Khan Sharma’s second pregnancy a secret for a few months, it was during IIFA 2019, that Aayush had confirmed the news. In a candid interview with SpotboyE, Arpita had revealed her due date and how her family reacted to the news of her second pregnancy. Revealing if their second child was a planned one, Arpita had said, “We had decided that we'll have a second child at some point. But no, this wasn't planned. Answering the question, “When are you due?” Arpita Khan Sharma had replied, “January.” Sharing if they have thought of any names for the soon-to-arrive baby, Arpita had said, “Nahin, abhi tak nahin. Let's first see if it's a daughter or a son.” If she wants a daughter now or a son again, Arpita had retorted, “Nothing like that. I just want a healthy baby.” She had also revealed that her husband, Aayush Sharma too, has no preference for a son or daughter and either would be equally welcomed in the family.
When asked, “Has your shopping begun- toys and clothes?” Arpita Khan Sharma had retorted, “Not yet.” Arpita had ended on the note, “The entire Khan-daan is overjoyed.” Aayush Sharma had walked the red carpet of the IIFA Awards 2019, hand-in-hand with an all-blushy preggy Arpita by his side. Confirming the pregnancy, Aayush had excitedly said, “The new arrival is very exciting. Yes, Arpita and I are expecting a second baby. It’s been such an amazing journey. A picture posted by the Love Yatri actor had him, son, Ahil and Arpita, happily pose for the camera. While the caption that had accompanied the picture was amazing enough, it was his reply to one of the comments that had captured all the attention. His comment could be read as “Family, where life begins and love never ends”, to which, a friend of Aayush, Varun Gupta who had handled the marketing of his debut film, had commented, “All 4 are looking Amaazing”, with two cryptic emoticons.
