Arjun Kapoor and his other extended family members of the Kapoor clan enjoyed a gala evening on November 15, 2023, at Sonam Kapoor’s residence, who hosted a bash to welcome the football legend, David Beckham. For the unversed, David visited Mumbai to witness the semi-final match that took place between India and New Zealand in Wankhede stadium, amidst the ongoing World Cup tour 2023. The star-studded gathering saw many known faces from the industry join in the grand affair as they gave a warm welcome to Beckham in the heart of the city.
Amidst all the glittery-glamorous pictures from the bash, that has been doing rounds on the internet, Arjun Kapoor took to his IG handle and dropped a few more glimpses from the same evening. While the first picture featured Arjun and his ladylove, Malaika Arora posing with the football player, the other captured an adorable moment between the Kapoor siblings and their spouses. However, it seems the third picture of Arjun and David Beckham has caught the limelight for all the wrong reasons.

Re-sharing Arjun and David’s close-up picture, an IG critique page compared Arjun’s height in the picture, with that of David Beckham. According to the internet, while Arjun is 1.78 m tall, David is 1.83m in height. The post further questioned how Arjun could look equal in height despite such a difference, suggesting that the actor might’ve faked it. However, Arjun Kapoor immediately took note of such a critical comment and gave a befitting reply, which can be read as:
“I’m actually 183 cms, that’s slightly over 6 feet so let’s not believe everything that we read.”
Well, this hasn’t been the first time that Arjun Kapoor has stepped up to check facts that circulate about him on social media. For instance, earlier, the actor attended the launch event of a show, wherein a journalist promptly asked Arjun about his views on pre-marital sex and having multiple partners before marriage. To this, the actor schooled the journalist with a well-thought reply, that can be quoted as:
“In a person's life, there are many highs and lows. You meet lots of people, you explore a lot of relationships. When you decide to get married, it is a bigger deal than perhaps not being married. Being in a relationship is a bigger deal but not as big as marriage. There are processes to reach that stage. Many times you think it is true love but later you realise you want to focus on your career or we cannot live up to this relationship because there are a few things that are not working out. That's allowed, why is that not allowed? When you ask questions such as 'multiple partners', this is not a video game. So change your question, the answer is logical."
For the unversed, Arjun Kapoor is in a steady relationship with actress, Malaika Arora. The duo haven’t been hiding their love for one another, and they never fail to impress everyone with their PDA. However, some time back, there were strong rumours about the two of them breaking up. Well, it all began when Arjun posted a solo picture of himself on his social media handle with a cryptic post that read as:

In an earlier interview with The Times of India, Arjun Kapoor’s ladylove, Malaika Arora broke her silence on the buzz about everything not being fine between her and the actor and mentioned that she doesn’t want to discuss her personal space publicly.
