Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have become one of the most sensational couples in the past year and they keep hitting the headlines every now and then. For instance, during the special screening of Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming film, India’s Most Wanted, Malaika Arora was spotted with her beau wherein the former was all-caring about his belle and escorted her safely away from the media crowd.
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s relationship has reached the point of obsession with the media, so much so, that wherever these two go, they are only asked about their wedding. During one of the promotional events of India’s Most Wanted, Arjun Kapoor was asked about the same. But this time, he not only tossed away the reports but also joked about his wedding plans with Malaika Arora. Arjun said that he doesn’t want to get married because people go bald after marriage. Arjun Kapoor was jokingly quoted as saying, “I have no qualms about saying that I am not getting married. People go bald after getting married.”
The Panipat actor further added that his wedding with Malaika Arora is not happening anytime soon. He had retorted, “Marriage is definitely not going to happen now. I’m happy on both, the personal and professional fronts. I have always been open. Be assured that I will not shock you all. If there is something to be spoken about, I will inform you all and make you a part of it.”
Arjun Kapoor had earlier revealed in an interview that whenever he will get married he’ll let everyone know about the same, “I’ve had a pretty roller coaster life since my childhood. I do not want to jump the gun, I want to take things one step at a time but, thank you for your wishes, thank you for your concern. Aur, mai jabhi bhi shaadi karunga, agar karunga, toh sabko bataunga. Arjun Kapoor had recently also shared similar words in another interview wherein he had said that things should fall into place and only then he’ll get married. Saying that there are no marriage plans this year, Arjun had retorted, “No marriage plans yaar. I am just very very happy, very very grateful that the media, and the people and generally everybody has been respectful towards me and my personal, and professional life. I think there has been a lot of dignity that has been given to me, a lot of respect has given to me. That is why there is certain openness from my end. I think things should take their own course. Things should fall into the place when they are meant to.”
Commenting on the speculations and conjectures, the 33-year-old actor had further added, “The speculative nature of our profession will always remain. Which is always gonna be there, which I think is a small price to pay as actors. But I think it has more to do with the fact that all my peers are getting married. So it becomes part of Sab ki ho rahi hai, toh iski bhi ho jayegi (Everyone is getting married, he too will get married). But, I am 33 I think I have little time before I take that plunge. It should happen when you are very very certain in life and when you know this is what you want.”
Detailing out the relationship status of Arjun and Malaika, a Deccan Chronicle report had earlier stated, “Malaika and Arjun are extremely fond of each other. They have never really spoken about each other, but they are extremely happy in their own personal space. In a steady relationship now, Malaika and Arjun plan to take their relationship to the next level and tie the knot next year.”
Do you know that Malaika and Arjun were supposed to get married on April 19, 2019? However, the reports turned out to be false. Claiming the same before April 19, a media report had stated, “Arjun and Malaika have told their teams to keep themselves free for the wedding.
