Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are one of the most loved couples in Tinseltown. The duo made their relationship Instagram official in 2019, and since then, they have been blessing our feeds with their mushy PDA moments. Malaika was earlier married to Arbaaz Khan and shares a son, Arhaan Khan, with him. And after parting ways with Arbaaz, the diva fell in love with Arjun Kapoor, leaving many people upset.
As Arjun Kapoor made an appearance on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8, he got candid about his relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Malaika Arora. When the host, Karan Johar asked Arjun about his plans to take his relationship with Malaika to the next level and getting married, the latter gave an honest reply. Arjun told Karan:
“I think at this point, and as much as I love coming on your show and being as honest and sincere about it, I think this is the part of my life that right now I want to take it as it comes. I don’t want to speak about anything specifically right now because I think that’s unfair to the relationship to talk alone about it.”

Elaborating more on it, Arjun Kapoor mentioned that it's unfair to talk about his future with Malaika in her absence. He further added that both of them will talk about it together when the time is right and shared that he is very happy and comfortable with Malaika. In his words:
“I think it’s unfair to be sitting here without her and talking about the future. I think that would be the most respectful thing. Once we reach that stage, we will come and talk about it together. I’m very very happy where I am and I think we make no bones about the fact that we survived through whatever we’ve had to be in this comfortable happy space.”
For the unversed, Malaika turned 50 this year, while Arjun is 38. The duo often gets trolled for their age difference and now Arjun opened up about the same. When Karan Johar asked Arjun if it bothers him how trolls talk about his relationship with Malaika, he said that their age difference made no difference to their bond. Addressing the trolls, the actor added:
"What is important to understand is that you will be affected. There is no person that is not being affected, it is about dealing with it. Those people that are putting up random comments, you also know that they are trying to get your attention. So earlier, I used to get a bit worked up and wanted to respond all the time. Then I realised that I have to allow it to sink in, to understand what the reason is why these desperate people are trying to get my attention, and try to detach myself from their reaction. Does it affect me? Yes it does... they (trolls) might be doing it get likes."

As Karan Johar opened up about being body shamed and trolled for his fashion sense, Arjun chimed in that he and Malaika also get trolled all the time. However, he added that these trolls are the same people who ask him and Malaika for selfies whenever they step out. In his words:
"These are the same people that will take a selfie with you. When they see you at a shoot, these are the same people that are also dying to take a selfies and photos with you. These are the same people, unfortunately."
