Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora are one of the most talked-about couples in Tinseltown. It was in 2019, when the lovebirds made their relationship Insta-official. Since then, they never miss a chance to paint the town red with their mushy glimpses. However, from Malaika and Arjun's age gap, her broken marriage, the duo's PDA moments, and many more, the couple keeps becoming the trollers' target, who comment on their personal life choices. In November 2022, reports claiming Malaika was pregnant with Arjun's child surfaced online. But Arjun reacted strongly to it and dismissed it by slamming the portal. Now, in an interview, Arjun revealed how he handled the situation then.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Arjun Kapoor opened up about her beau, Malaika Arora's pregnancy reports, which surfaced in November 2022. Talking about the same, Arjun mentioned how easily negative rumours about the celeb's life spread like a forest fire. Even though he knows and understands that a celeb's life isn't private, he believes that at least rumours shouldn't be believed about them. So, requesting the media portals to at least contact them in person before writing about such big news of their life, Arjun said:
“Negativity is easier to do. I think it gets people to pay attention because that’s been building for a while. Listen, we are actors, our personal life is not always very private. There is a certain amount that exists and you have to be okay with it already joining the profession. There might be that element that remains but I think we rely on you all to reach the audience. We need you all to be at least cognizant of the fact that we are human beings. So, check with us once in a while if you’re going to write something that is very very important. At least do that much and I think that was all that I did. It was more about that it should be checked; it should not be assumed."

In the same conversation, Arjun continued that he had to slam the media portal and ask them to delete such an article to handle the situation. However, he also mentioned how he has never hidden anything about his life from the media. Thus, he wouldn't support this kind of casualness. He also asked the media not to have fun at others’ expense or make it personal. The Kuttey actor added:
“You should not put something that can be life-altering out there. I think it was handled at that point in time, I put it out, it was handled, it was taken off. There was a realisation of an error but I did that because I emotionally felt like I trust all of you. I’ve never hidden, I’ve never held back. I think the casualness is what put me in that situation."
Well, this wasn't the first time when Malaika or Arjun received backlash or fell into a difficult position. For instance, on May 28, 2023, Malaika posted a semi-nude picture of her beau, Arjun, on her IG story. However, some netizens seemed unimpressed with such a picture, wherein Arjun was seen hiding his private parts with a pillow and barely wearing anything else. Soon, they started trolling Malaika and her beau, Arjun. Check out the reactions below.
