It was an unfortunate morning on February 24, 2018, when the nation woke up to the shattering news of Sridevi Kapoor’s demise. And her demise marked as a beginning for a relationship between Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, who earlier did not share cordial terms with their father’s second family and half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Since February 2018, the elder siblings have been shadowing their baby sisters like how and their inseparable bonding knows no bounds!
A day ago, Janhvi Kapoor had given a glimpse of her pre-ramp ritual in which she channelled her foodie side. Dressed in a gorgeous lehenga, the runway-ready Janhvi gorged on a scrumptious dessert and she had written, “Pre Ramp Walk Ritual”. Janhvi, binging on her favourite food to calm her nervousness is something that everyone could relate to! Looks like another treat was ready for us as Janhvi was on her way to walk to the ramp with her half-brother, Arjun Kapoor. And watching the brother-sister duo, acing the ramp and together in one frame was surely a treat to eyes. Arjun and Janhvi walked the ramp for the designer, Anamika Khanna collection at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour.
In an interview with Filmfare, revealing how and when they started relying on Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor had stated, “It comes from seeking a sense of protection. A significant figure in our lives- my mother- wasn’t there anymore. Whom could we rely on? So, Khushi and I found ourselves leaning on them. A strong trust was forged between us. Arjun Kapoor loves taking a trip down the memory lane and digging out hidden gems every now and then, and October 12, 2019, was no different! Sharing a childhood picture with Rhea Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun had given a glimpse of his ‘childhood swag’. Along with it, he had written, “My Childhood Swag was always high!!! @kobebryant 4 life @nbaindia!!! Also the sister s weren’t too shabby either... @rheakapoor @anshulakapoor @janhvikapoor #flashback #baller4life #swagkapoor #issavibe.” And Janhvi was all hearts for the throwback picture! Anshula had reposted the picture and had captioned it, “That missing tooth though #KapoorJunior #WhereThemEyesAt.” Arjun had posted another picture on his Insta story wherein he could be seen looking away from the camera as his sisters, Rhea, Anshula and Janhvi had happily posed for the photograph.
Sometime back, on the unseen Koffee Konfessions episode of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar had given not only us but Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor also, a memory to cherish for a lifetime. Karan had shown Arjun and Janhvi an unseen throwback photo from their childhood wherein little Janhvi could be seen sitting on bhaiya, Arjun’s lap. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Arjun Kapoor had talked about the equation he now shares with his half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Stating that all he wants is his sisters to be happy, Arjun had said, “It’s something that has been growing and still evolving. I’ve been very honest about it. I’ve not made any pretence saying that we’re a happy family and we’ve sorted everything.
