Ariana Grande officially filed for a divorce from her estranged husband, Dalton Gomez, on September 18, 2023. As per several reports, the two lived apart since January 2023, and in July 2023, rumours popped up in the media that they decided to part ways. Well, the exact reason behind their split is not known yet, but it is reported that their careers distanced the duo.
While the 30-year-old singer, Ariana Grande, might have walked away from the person she once found a home for her heart, now it seems there’s someone else who has been taking care of her. Immediately after the rumours of her and Dalton’s impending divorce started making rounds in the media, she was linked with her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater.

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater met on the sets of their upcoming film, Wicked. The duo is said to be going strong these days. According to photos obtained by the celebrity blog, Deuxmoi, the couple, Ariana and Ethan, who are rumoured to be romantically involved, were seen at Disneyland on Friday night. The photos show the couple linking arms and waiting for a ride. Unfortunately, their faces are not visible. A video from the outing shows the couple being given a tour of the theme park by a guide. A few friends also accompanied them.

Ariana’s outing with Ethan comes just a few days after filing for divorce from her husband, Dalton Gomez, whom she had been married to for two years. In her divorce filings, Ariana requested that their prenuptial agreement be respected, and some of her expensive jewellery be considered separate property and assets. Despite the separation, sources have indicated that everything between the singer and her estranged husband remains amicable.
While Ariana and Dalton might have an understanding between them after parting ways from each other, it seems that Ethan and his estranged wife, Lilly Jay, who have a one-year-old son together, may not be on good terms. When it was revealed in July 2023 that Grande was dating Slater, sources told Page Six that Jay was taken aback by the news.

Only one week after their relationship was made public, Slater filed for divorce from his former high school sweetheart. The day after, Lilly spoke negatively about Grande in an interview with Page Six. She revealed that Ariana's story is not that of a typical 'girl's girl', and unfortunately, her family has become ‘collateral damage’.
Sources previously mentioned that Slater's estranged wife was struggling, and they never had any issues. While some say that the actor and Grande only began their relationship after he separated from his wife, others claim that they carelessly flaunted their affair for months. According to an insider, they were seen being all over each other on set and at a party in March, even though Ethan and Ariana were still married to their respective partners.
