Ayushmann Khurrana’s actor-brother, Aparshakti Khurana and his wife, Aakriti Ahuja are expecting their first child together after six years of married life. It was in March 2021 that the reports of their pregnancy had started doing the rounds, however, no one from the family had confirmed the same. It was on June 4, 2021, that the couple had finally given confirmation to the same.

Aparshakti Khurana and Aakriti Ahuja had announced their pregnancy on their respective social media handles by posting the first picture of the mommy-to-be, flaunting her baby bump. While Aparshakti had captioned it as "Lockdown me kaam to expand ho nahi paya, humne socha family hi expand kar lete hain" in Hindi, Aakriti had written, "Doing our bit to add to this Baby Boomer generation #PreggerAlert: @taniaabroll @taniagrewalphotography."
Taking to his IG handle, Aparshakti Khurana reshared an IG story of House of Rifaqat, which covered a feature on the actor and his pregnant wife. In the feature, we spotted an unseen pregnancy picture of Aparshakti and Aakriti as the parents-to-be twinned in white. They can be seen caressing the baby bump in the picture and mentioned that more pictures from the shoot will be out soon.
As the world celebrated Father’s Day on June 20, 2021, soon-to-be father, Aparshakti too was surprised by his ladylove. Aakriti took to her IG handle and shared a monochrome picture with Aparshakti, pouting as the mommy-to-be flaunted her baby bump. She captioned the picture as “Happy Father’s Day to my Baby Daddy. #MyBabyDaddyStrongest.”
Aakriti also arranged a ‘First Father’s Day’ hamper for Aparshakti, which had flowers and a cute cake with ‘My Papoo strongest’ written over it. Aparshakti shared a picture of the same on his IG handle and wrote, “My Firstttt Fathers Day Hamper from Tam Tam you can thank mumma later @aakritiahuja.”

To celebrate their six years of married life, on September 6, 2020, Aparshakti Khurana had posted a dreamy picture with Aakriti Ahuja and had written, "6 years Back. Same Date. Same Time @aakritiahuja."
