As much as Anushka Sharma loves posting pictures on social media, updating her fans about her upcoming projects and personal life, she quite frequently shares glimpses of her childhood too. Anushka's Instagram feed is her childhood archive, which gives glimpses of how she was as a child and one glimpse at the same, you'll realise that she was born to act and the humility she shows, is something she carries from her childhood. From being a curious, mad-happy child, an enthusiastic sister to mommy’s poser daughter and daddy’s little girl, it is always a delight to get glimpses of Anushka's childhood.

Anushka Sharma often shares pictures with her brother, Karnesh Sharma from their childhood and they speak volumes of their sibling love. Karnesh too, never leaves a chance to shower love on his sister, Anushka and last year, May 1, 2020, was no different. To mark Anushka's birthday, Karnesh had posted a collage with four pictures of him and Anushka, and it showed how their relationship became even stronger and lovelier in their journey from childhood to adulthood. Karnesh had captioned the collage as "Happy Happy Birthday.. Keep the kid in you alive always" followed by heart emojis.
A day after Sibling's Day, Anushka Sharma posted a throwback picture with Karnesh Sharma as a special childhood memory to mark this day. In the picture, Anushka and Karnesh posed for the camera with newspapers spread out in front of them on the table. Replying to Anushka's story, Karnesh wrote, "Why were we reading news?? clearly not interested!!" adding a few laughing and heart emojis. Anushka and Karnesh sported hilarious reactions as they posed for the camera and to reply to her brother, the star-sister wrote, "I was definitely reading the comic strips."
It was in January 2021, when Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their little angel, Vamika and a few days after the birth of their child, the elated parents had introduced her to the world. Sharing their first-ever family picture with Vamika, Anushka had written, "We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy." To her post, Virat had commented, "My whole world in one frame." The elated mama, Karnesh Sharma reposted Anushka's post on his IG story and had added, "Vamika" followed by a couple of heart emojis.

In a throwback 2016 interview with the Hindustan Times, the Clean Slate Filmz co-owners, Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma had spoken about working together. When the sibling duo was asked, "What is it like, working with a sibling — good, bad or ugly?" while Karnesh had retorted, "It’s all of it. It’s good, it’s bad, very bad, sometimes torturous and suicidal (laughs)." Anushka had replied, "He’s right, it’s not all good, because somewhere, as family, you take each other for granted. When you have to speak to somebody from your workspace, you’ll be tactful. But with your sibling, you talk with no holds barred. So, sometimes, we end up fighting. But these are things we are both aware of. The good bit that comes out of working together is far more. Also, we are too close. If we didn’t have such a strong relationship, it would’ve been different. In our case, he is my best friend."
Revealing what's most important at the end of it all, Karnesh Sharma had said, "What’s important is that at the end of it all, there’s trust. So, even though there might be issues, we know that we can trust each other blindly." Anushka Sharma had added, "He and I have never had different opinions. Our approaches may differ, but our final result is the same."
