It was more than two months ago, on January 11, 2021, when Anushka Sharma had given birth to her daughter, Vamika and after working throughout her pregnancy, she had taken her maternity break. Anushka and Vamika had accompanied Virat Kohli for his matches in Ahmedabad and Pune. It was only a few days ago when Virat, Anushka and Vamika had returned to Mumbai, where the cricketer will be prepping up for his upcoming Indian Premier League. Anushka also ended her maternity break and resumed her professional commitments.

It was in March 2021 when baby Vamika had completed 2 months in this beautiful world and Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had celebrated the special occasion in the sweetest way possible (literally). Anushka had posted a glimpse of the celebration, a multi-tier cake decorated with blue-icing, stars, clouds and rainbow on the top and it seemed to have a blueberry filling. Anushka had written, "Happy 2 months to us!" atop it. Virat had then posted a mushy picture with Anushka, showering her with love and a hug. Virat had simply captioned the picture with a heart emoji, which was enough to speak volumes about his love and admiration for Anushka.
In the entertainment industry, B-town divas take no time to get back on their feet post delivering their child. Anushka Sharma had worked throughout her pregnancy and after giving birth to her firstborn, she had taken the maternity break. As quoted by sources before, Anushka was supposed to resume her work by April end but looks like the actress is ready to roll a month before only. Anushka was snapped by the paparazzi at a studio as she came out of her vanity van, dressed in a white top and blue denim. Pinkvilla quoted an eyewitness saying, "Anushka is definitely in the best of shape. She has been a hands-on mom and has also ensured that she is ready to balance her work life and personal life perfectly. She’s known for her punctuality in the industry and she was there on the sets before her call time for the shoot, looking ravishingly beautiful."
A few weeks ago, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were snapped by the paparazzi at Ahmedabad and Pune airport, as the couple had travelled with other members of the Indian cricket team and their families, for another schedule. In the pictures captured by one of their fans at the Ahmedabad airport, Anushka had tightly held Vamika in her arms and Virat followed them, holding the luggage and a baby carrycot. In a video shot by the paparazzi of the team members entering the airport, Vamika can be seen hidden with a white cloth, cuddled in Anushka’s arms.

In an interaction on Forbes India Leadership Awards 2021, the newbie father, Virat Kohli had expressed his feelings on becoming a father, “It’s been an amazing, amazing time. Ever since I came back from Australia, just to be able to be present for the birth of our daughter was something that is very difficult to explain in words something that I will cherish it for the rest of my life. I would not have missed it for anything in the world. Unless you are there, you cannot understand the impact it has on you as a human being to witness the life being born and your own child, it’s something magical.”
Speaking about helping Anushka Sharma with the chores of their daughter, Vamika, Virat Kohli had continued, “When you are fully committed and fully tuned in for doing the responsibilities of becoming a parent, I don’t think anything seems that difficult. I had to leave after 17-18 days. But I understand how things are and I would have loved to be right beside Anushka for the time that I was away. But now the family is with me, so I’m helping wherever I can. Once you are in that space, I don’t think seems like that difficult, so I am just relishing and enjoying every moment of it.”
