Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif are known to be the BFFs in Tinseltown. Despite being contemporaries to one another, as well as top-of-the-league actresses, they have always impressed everyone with their close equation, shedding aside any and all possibilities of a catfight. For the unversed, the duo worked together in the films, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero, which simply deepened their friendship like no other. Moreover, the duo even happens to be neighbours, as they reside in the same apartment in Mumbai.
Bollywood has been synonymously tagged with the burdens of catfights between two actresses of the same decade. However, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif’s equation simply defies such trajectories. Proof of the same was found in one of the old interviews of the former, a clip of which has been going massively viral on Reddit. When asked to name one of the best co-stars she has ever worked with, Anushka simply took Katrina’s name and gave a beautiful reason for the same. She mentioned:
“Whoever I have worked with, Katrina, she’s been, I can say, like the easiest person to work with. I’ve even said that she is my best co-star.”

Taking to the comment section of the video, eagle-eyed netizens took note of Anushka Sharma’s remark about Katrina Kaif and began to express their views on the same. Well, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that a major section of netizens were impressed with the kind of equation and camaraderie two mainstream actresses share with one another, despite being in a competitive field of work like Bollywood. While one user commented, “I love straightforward ppl like her. Love her vibe”, another user wrote, “It has to be Anushka, she is the only sane/down to earth person in Bollywood”. Yet another netizen penned, “Anushka is very respectful to her female contemporaries. She revealed how awestruck she was while working with Aishwarya. Her camaraderie with Katrina is genuine.”

Back in March 2023, Anushka Sharma, in an interview with the Grazia Magazine, revealed an interesting anecdote about her and Virat Kohli getting invited to her neighbours, Vicky and Katrina’s home for a double dinner date. Sharing all the fun that they had, Anushka revealed:
“Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their home, but we eat dinner at 6 and we sleep at 9:30. So I said (to Katrina), for you we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So, she’s like okay, you’ll have dinner and Vicky and me will have snacks.”

Previously, during a promotional interview for her then-released film, Tiger 3, Katrina Kaif had opened up about her BFF, Anushka Sharma and spoke about the kind of inspirational equation the latter shares with her husband, Virat Kohli. Lauding them both for having each other’s backs no matter what, Katrina said:
“They (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) are such wonderful support to each other. You can see whenever Virat is playing, there is joy on her (Anushka's) face. It’s beautiful to see that. But I think Virat is an inspiration to us, he's dedicated, he's disciplined. Look at the fitness level that he has brought in, he has only made himself better. You see the dedication and the discipline that he has brought in.”
