Often referred to as the power couple of the glamour world, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are truly acing their marriage. While the Indian skipper, Virat rules the cricket ground with his amazing batting prowess, his gorgeous wife rules the silver screen with her effortless performances. Together, they are a perfect example of couple goals.
It was on December 11, 2017, when social media went crazy with the pictures of Virat and Anushka’s intimate Tuscany wedding. Anushka had looked ravishing in a light pink Sabyasachi lehenga with heavy jewellery and her prince charming, Virat had looked dapper in an ivory silk sherwani sherwani. In February 2021, the doting couple got promoted to parents and welcomed their baby girl, Vamika.

While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon an adorable throwback picture of Virat and Anushka. The picture shared by their fan club was taken in 2018, when the couple shot for a clothing brand. In the behind-the-scenes picture, Virat was seen sticking out his tongue at Anushka, while she blushed at him.
It was during the shooting of a shampoo commercial, when Anushka and Virat had met for the first time. During a 2019 interview with American sports reporter, Graham Bensinger, Virat had recalled his first meeting with Anushka and his nervousness during the shoot. Talking about the same, Virat had said, “When I met her for the first time, I cracked a joke. I was just there - standing, being all nervous and jittery.”
In the same interview, Virat had told Graham that while shooting for the commercial, which had lasted for three days, they had realised that they have a lot in common. Revealing their similarities, Virat had said, “Our lives were going at the same pace but in totally different worlds. We came into the scene in the same year but we didn’t know each other until 2013. That is the year we met. Our lives have been so similar but in totally different worlds.”

On December 11, 2020, Virushka (lovingly called by their fans) had completed three years of marital bliss. And to mark the special day, Virat and Anushka had penned adorable wishes for one another. Virat had taken to his IG handle and had shared a candid monochrome click from their wedding. Along with the picture, Virat had written, "3 years and onto a lifetime together."
The doting wifey, Anushka Sharma had shared a candid click with Virat, in which she could be seen hugging him from behind as the couple shared a laugh together. Along with the mesmerising picture, Anushka had written, "3 years of us & very soon, 3 of us. Miss you."
