When it comes to their personal life, relationship and marriage, Virushka has always preferred to remain tight-lipped about it. It has been a year since Virat and Anushka are giving major marital goals to everyone and the nation swoons over them like how! Ever since Anushka and Virat got married, the lovebirds have been juggling between their personal life and professional commitments.
It really isn’t a cakewalk to strike a balance with such hectic schedules, but this much-in-love couple has been managing it really well. Virat and Anushka always make sure to be with each other on every special occasion. Similar is their plan for their first anniversary as well. Since Anushka has been busy with the promotions of her film, Zero, she has planned to take some days off and spend some time with the love of her life.
According to a DNA report, Anushka will join Virat in Australia to ring in their first wedding anniversary on December 11, 2018. According to the source, “Anushka had planned this trip months ago and the Zero team was aware that she would be taking a few days off in December to celebrate this special moment.” The reports further stated, “The Indian cricket team will play against Australia and Anushka will join hubby Virat for some days. She will fly back post the celebrations. Their hectic work schedules can only permit them this time of togetherness.”
Recently, Anushka appeared on the Elle magazine’s November issue cover and shared that staying together in their home feels like a vacation to her. Anushka was quoted as saying, “Marriage doesn’t feel different. Virat and I have been working around the clock, we hardly spend time together, we both have very hectic lives. So, we are living in a house and we have spent barely any time in it. For us, home is, like, wow! During the promotions of her film, Sui Dhaaga, when Anushka was asked about her married life, she said that they are two simple people who don’t see themselves as a ‘power couple.’ Anushka remarked, “I think we are both not so attached to what we do. The other day someone asked me a question you know ‘power couple and two powerful people from your own industry. You know when you are together, how do you manage this and all’. And I thought to myself and I told them also, we don’t see ourselves like that. We start to see ourselves that way then there is something really wrong in the nature of our relationship. If someone really wants to have an insight into our lives, we are very simple people, wanting to do normal, very simple things.”
Anushka Sharma also added that the two of them look at fame from the same perspective. The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi fame actress said, “We are both very awkward with the fame that we have we don’t embrace stardom and fame and that’s why, I think, we connect so much. We run away, sometimes, from these things. Sometimes, we find a need to be in our own cocoon. And that’s the reason why we are so self-sufficient. And when I see self, I mean both of us because we don’t see each other as two different people. Him and me are male and female versions of each other.”
Talking about their spirituality, Anushka shared, “Yes, of course, the outer expression might be different, the way people look at us might be different but inside the values are exactly the same. And we both are very spiritual people. First and foremost, we lead spiritual lives and then it is what we do our professions are just what we do. So that’s where we find our strength from. This is our duty, we perform our duty and then we come back.”
At the launch of One8 Select, when Virat was asked about his competition with wife, Anushka Sharma, he retorted, “That thought doesn’t even occur to us at any stage. I don’t know how people even go into that direction. Whatever internally we talk about, obviously I am not going to publicly come out and tell people about our conversations but when it comes to the business side of things, both of us are professionals. There is absolutely no competition there at all.”
Virat went on to say, “I don’t know how people get into these conclusions and get to think that these kind of conversations will happen. She is a professional and she is working here for so long. She is an established professional in her own career and she is one of the biggest celebrities in the country. She has her own vision and she obviously knows what she is doing so I don’t think there is ever room for things like that.
