Anusha Dandekar has been going through a difficult phase as she got treated for a lump in the ovary. The actress talked about the importance of going to a gynaecologist and getting regular checkups. For the unversed, Anusha is famously known as the MTV VJ. She was hailed as a fashionista in Bollywood, and young girls would have taken note of her useful fashion tips in the 2000s.
On June 12, 2023, Anusha shared a picture on her Instagram handle. In the photo, she flaunted her makeup-free look and penned a long note about her health. She revealed that she had undergone surgery for a lump in one of her ovaries. The actress called her recovery journey intense and shared that she got super lucky as she is doing great now. Anusha wrote:
"Quick story: went through a surgery for a lump in my ovary, the recovery has been pretty intense and also I’m really lucky all was okay… found a few more lumps while they were there, again super lucky everything Is great now…"

Anusha further advised girls to have a consistent yearly checkup with their gynaecologist as it helps them in the early identification of any health problem. She added that she has been going through checkups since she was 17. She wrote:
"Just wanted to tell all the girls that are here reading this, to make sure you visit your Gynaecologist once a year without fail to stay ahead of your health and safety, I’ve been doing that since I was 17 and that’s how I can be so grateful I’m recovering well today."
Last year, Anusha posted a series of pictures with her baby girl. Alongside it, she introduced her goddaughter to the world. She also bared her heart out on how she is going to look after her angel, whom she could call her own. She had written:
"I finally have a little girl I can call my own… introducing this Angel of mine, my GOD DAUGHTER Sahara… the ultimate love of my life. Monster and Gangsta and I are going to look after you, spoil you and protect you forever and always! I Love you baby girl, your GOD Mummy!"
After this, fans and her friends started pouring their congratulations and best wishes in her comments section. But it was her sister, Shibani Dandekar's comment that revealed Anusha was just clicking pictures with someone else's child. Shibani had commented:
"Stop stealing peoples children and taking pictures… she cut tho much love to the little one."
Soon Anusha had taken to her IG stories, and thanked people for pouring love on her. However, she revealed that the baby was just her Godchild.
