The gorgeous VJ-turned actress, Anusha Dandekar had broken a million hearts when she had started dating the handsome hunk, Karan Kundrra. Karan had earlier dated his co-star from the show, Kitani Mohabbat Hai , Kritika Kamra but after dating for a couple of years, the duo had called it off. Karan had then moved on to have a serious relationship with Anusha. The couple had dated for more than 5 years and were in a live-in relationship. It was April 2020, when we had first heard the faint murmurs of our 'Love Professors', VJ Anusha and Karan Kundrra breaking up, and it had broken our hearts a little. The reports of their breakup had gotten more mileage as the doting couple, who is otherwise quite active on social media, stopped posting pictures with each other. While Anusha had shared a lot of cryptic posts hinting towards her separation and being cheated, Karan, on the other hand, had stated that he didn’t wish to comment on his personal life.
On March 18, 2021, Anusha Dandekar took to her IG handle and shared a stunning picture with actor, Jason Shah, who was seen as a wild card entrant in Bigg Boss 10. Anusha captioned her post as “When your director for the day looks like this... #sogramable! Oh Hey J! @jasonshah.” On Anusha’s post, Jason commented, “Honoured to have had the opportunity to work with you #shemakeeverythinglookeasy.” Anusha’s sizzling post grabbed a lot of attention from the netizens as one wrote, “Much better than karan kundra”, another user commented, “Thousands times better than Karan kundra.”
On January 2, 2021, Anusha had taken to her IG handle and had posted a picture quoting RM Drake and had penned a long note on how the year 2020 had turned out for her. An excerpt of the quote in the picture could be read as "That's the thing. If they were really the one. Then why do you spend so many nights overthinking. Why do you feel unsure about the relationship. Why do you keep having sleepless nights." Talking about how everything she had said about love in the show, Love School, was real, VJ Anusha had written, "So here it is, before the year ends... Yes I did a show called Love School, yes I was your Love Professor, yes everything I shared and the advice I gave has always been real and from my heart... yes I love hard, so hard... yes I don't leave till there is nothing left for me to try and fight for, yes even I'm human, yes even I lost myself and some of my self respect, yes I've been cheated and lied to... yes I waited for an apology, which never came, yes I learnt I actually had to apologise and forgive myself... And yes i grew, have grown and will continue to grow from all of it and look at the positive."
Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Karan Kundrra had spoken about the rumours of his breakup with Anusha and had said, “I’m a very happy and productive person and I don’t give a sh*t to any speculations. Frankly, I’ve started getting a bit bored with it. The other day, I saw an article from 2012 and then also the same things were happening. My dad called and asked me what’s happening, and I told him there was nothing.” He had further said, “I’m answerable about my performance and work, not whom I’m dating and whom I’m not dating. There are some of my friends who get harrowed by all these things that how can people say such things about them.
