The Spa Weekend star also recently revealed that she has been noticing and appreciating her fans even more than before over the last year. Speaking about quitting alcohol, Anna Faris also talked about 'hormonal patches' making a huge difference for her.
Anna Faris sparked false Ozempic buzz
Following the interview, one of the actress's videos circulated on X (Twitter). In the video, the actress was seen giving autographs for her fans. While it was a normal clip, some social media users started claiming that Anna looked simply unrecognizable and thin. The post also, without any further verification, claimed that the actress was on some medication, which didn't go down well with the actress's fans. Anna's fans came forward to support her, while slamming the social media user who made false claims about the actress.
The post initially sparked the Ozempic buzz. Ozempic has been a widely discussed topic in Hollywood recently. For the unversed, Ozempic is a drug containing semaglutide and is usually prescribed to patients with diabetes, as reported. However, there have been speculations about Ozempic being used for weight loss, and celebrities are often accused of the same. While Anna was accused, without any verification, of taking Ozempic, her fans lashed out at the accusers. Amid Anna saying that she stepped away from alcohol and also addressing the unverified claims, let's have a look at her transformation over the years.

Anna Faris hasn't shown that much of a drastic transformation in her look over the years, to begin with. She shot to fame with her role as 'Cindy Campbell' in the movie Scary Movie. In the 2000s, she continued to shell out the girl-next-door vibes. With her signature blonde hair, the gorgeous actress became a red-carpet favorite. Over the years, this remained her signature hair color; however, in 2002, she experimented with her hair, turning it dark brown.
By 2004, she was back to blonde and kept it that way. Over the years, the evolving makeup styles obviously were a contributing factor to her changed appearance, as well as weight and age. However, it seemed she didn't age at all when she made an appearance back in 2024 during the release of her film, My Spy: The Eternal City, in July. In 2026, Anna Faris left people gossiping about her as she attended the premiere of her film, Scary Movie 6, at the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles. She opted for a halter-neck black dress. While some were questioning her opting for surgeries, others were wondering if something was wrong. Well, it was nothing but seemingly her makeup and age.
However, by August 2026, she confirmed that she had quit alcohol. She never disclosed when she began drinking; however, she did talk about the impact it had by stating that depression was correlated with it. Speaking of plastic surgery, back in 2008, she had a breast augmentation, right before she turned 30. Speaking about the same, Anna once revealed:
"I was always a negative-A cup, so when I was 30, I was getting a divorce [from first husband Ben Indra], I had just finished House Bunny and I'd sold another movie. All of these new things were happening to me, so I got my breasts done. It was f—king awesome. I never, ever thought I'd do something like that. I always thought plastic surgery was caving in to 'the man,' you know? But it came down to a really simple thing: I wanted to fill out a bikini. What would that feel like? I'm still floored that I did it."
