Ankita Lokhande is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. The diva never skips a chance to win the hearts of her fans, courtesy of her acting skills, divine beauty, sweet personality, and more. Ankita rose to fame with the serial, Pavitra Rishta, wherein she acted opposite her ex-beau and the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. However, the diva and the late actor were in a relationship for seven years, and instead of getting married, they parted ways. Cut to now, Ankita is married to Vicky Jain, and they are currently grabbing the headlines with their stint in the show, Bigg Boss 17.
Now and again, Ankita Lokhande opened up about her past relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput inside the Bigg Boss 17 house, and yet again she did the same. In the latest episode of BB 17, Ankita Lokhande shared why she kept a stoic silence for two years after her breakup with Sushant. She mentioned that, at first, she never wanted anybody to know about her breakup in the hope of reconciliation. The actress shared that when she started dating Vicky, everyone mocked him. Ankita can be heard as saying:
"Bahut baar banda batata nahi hai breakup ke baare main kyunki ussko lagta hai ki shayad wapas relationship thik ho jaye. Ek hope rehti hai yaar. I remember jab mera breakup hua tha toh for two years I didn’t really want anyone to know about it. Phir later when I got into a relationship with Vicky toh everyone trolled him badly but ussne mera bahut sath diya, itna koi deta nahi hai."

Ankita shared that although she met Vicky, she was unsure about where this relationship was going to go, and Vicky supported her throughout. In the same conversation, Ankita Lokhande revealed how Vicky Jain faced a lot of flak for dating her. Ankita also said that when Sushant died, people doubted her and Vicky, but the latter handled it well, which most people cannot do. Ankita also shared that after her breakup with Sushant, she used to think about what she did wrong in that relationship, and after she met Vicky, he showered her with love and never questioned anything. Ankita can be heard saying:
“He went through a lot because of me and proved himself. Not everyone can handle that, especially after Sushant’s death, people doubted us. When Sushant and I ended our relationship, I waited for him for two and a half years, and then I moved on with my life. I used to wonder what I did wrong. When Vicky came into my life, he treated me with so much love. Vicky never questioned anything."

Every now and then, Ankita Lokhande talks about Sushant Singh Rajput inside the BB 17 house. Earlier, in an episode, the diva shared how the late actor used to maintain journaling. She also shared how Sushant ticked off each of his wishes that he wrote in his diary, which was not easy for an outsider in the industry. Ankita added that she had the diary after Sushant died.
In an earlier episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande stated that after waiting for two and a half years, she finally decided to move on with her life. The actress also revealed how she told her mom to remove all of SSR's photos from her room. Ankita mentioned that her mom, following the former's decision, removed each of Sushant's photos and tore them up. Sharing more details about the same, Ankita shared how she cried on that day and decided to forego her life. She also recalled that six months after that incident, Vicky Jain came into her life.
