Popular actress, Ankita Lokhande recently participated in Bigg Boss 17 with her husband, Vicky Jain, in October 2023. The duo had several major fights and ugly arguments during their stint on the show. After coming out of the BB house, Vicky and Ankita hosted a party at their lavish home and invited their close friends. However, the duo is finding it hard to the trolls who criticised them for their fights and equation with other contestants on the show.
In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Ankita Lokhande was asked how she and Vicky have been dealing with the constant trolling and criticism thrown their way. Responding to the same, the actress mentioned that she and Vicky try to make each other understand that they have to face it with a smile on their face. However, she further revealed that she has deleted Instagram as she was mentally drained and added:
"I think Vicky bhi aise hi deal kar raha hai.. hum dono hi ek dusre ko samjhane ki koshish kar rahe hain, wo bhi smile ke saath sab ko face kar raha hai. I am also trying to. But there is a lot of mental stress, isliye maine Instagram hata dia hai. Maine kha mujhe kuchh nahi dekhna hai. Mujhe lagta hai ye sab cheezein aapko bhut jyada affect karti hain. Isse acha mai ghar pe thi mujhe kuchh pta ni chalta tha, hum jo kuchh bhi karte the wahan hokar khatam ho jata tha. At the end it will take time but we will recover from it."

Speaking along the same lines, Ankita Lokhande revealed that she is not an overthinker. However, the situations and judgements that she faced on BB17 made her vulnerable, but now she wants to go with the flow. Ankita further mentioned that her priority is her and Vicky's relationship and added:
"I think I am. I am not that person who thinks deeply. But yes, Bigg Boss ke aane ke bad... Agar mai platform pe hu Bigg Boss jaise, wahan definitely log aapko judge karenge. You don't want to be judged but agar aisa ho raha hai to hone dete hai. Mere liye sabse jyada matter karta hai mera or Vicky ka rishta."

After Ankita Lokhande came out of the show, she sat for an interview with the news agency, PTI and revealed how Bigg Boss 17 took a toll on her mental health. Talking about the same, the actress shared that she was not an overthinker before, but the situations inside Bigg Boss 17 made her one. Ankita further claimed that it might take some time for her to recover from it. She said:
“I feel I need to recover from that because it’s taken a toll on my mental health. I was never a deep thinker but the situations were such that I became one. I’m trying to recover, and understand a few things of what has happened in my life. It will take time but eventually I’ll come out of it.”

Though Ankita Lokhande has now deleted her Instagram account, she recently shared a post for her pet dog, Scotch. On February 5, 2024, Ankita took to her IG handle and shared the sad news of the demise of her furry pet, Scotch. She shared a picture of her furry pet sitting on a couch and penned a heartfelt note. For the unversed, it was Sushant Singh Rajput who gifted the dog to Ankita while they were dating each other. Her note can be read as:
“Hey buddy, mamma will miss you so much. Rest in peace scotch.”
