Ankita Lokhande made her acting debut with the Television show, Pavitra Rishta. She portrayed the role of 'Archana Deshmukh' opposite the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, who was seen in the character of 'Manav Damodar Deshmukh'. Since then, Ankita has never looked back and has been constantly working hard in the entertainment industry. Now, as Pavitra Rishta completed 14 years, the actress is brimming with extreme happiness and nostalgia as she can be seen walking down the memory lanes.
Taking to her IG handle on June 1, 2023, Ankita Lokhande shared a video compiling various photos of her character 'Archana Deshmukh' from the serial, Pavitra Rishta. Ankita, who gained immense fame through her first-ever show seemed to feel nostalgic while sharing the photos, as the serial completed 14 years today. For the unversed, after running for quite some years, the TV series ended in the year 2014.

Alongside the video, Ankita penned a long note mentioning how connected she feels with her debut show. She also thanked her dear friend and producer of the show, Ekta Kapoor for giving her such a great opportunity. Further, Ankita revealed her gratitude towards Ekta for believing that the former could play the role of 'Archana'. Not only that, the actress also thanked the audience for showing so much love and support for her. Ankita's caption can be read as:
“14 years of Pavitra rishta and still feels so fresh and connected with my first ever baby.. Thanku god for everything!! And thanks you so much @ektarkapoor for always having that faith in me that I could be your archu and Thanku for giving me the new identity as Archana because the people who loved me during the show when they see or meet me now also ,the first name which comes in there mind is archu and I love it so much.. Thanku so much everyone around who has loved and watched this beautiful show called pavitra rishta with all there heart and soul .. I’m grateful forever”.

As soon as Ankita shared her video, millions of fans congratulated her for delivering such a wonderful performance onscreen. In addition, a few of the netizens also missed Sushant Singh Rajput. For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande tied the knot with the love of her life, Vicky Jain on December 14, 2021, in a dreamy wedding ceremony. Since then, Ankita and Vicky never fail to spend time with each other and paint the town red with their mushy glimpses. For instance, on January 16, 2023, Ankita had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a series of glimpses from her Makar Sankranti celebration with her husband, Vicky. In the picture, Ankita could be seen donning a black-coloured Banarasi saree. On the other hand, Vicky wore a matching kurta-pyjama and a green waistcoat.
On the work front, Ankita was seen in the TV show, Smart Jodi along with her husband Vicky Jain. The duo also became the winner of the show.
