Waking up to the sound of your baby’s cry, changing his/her diapers, preparing the food for your little one, checking if everything is as per the need of the little munchkin; this somewhat sums up the initial phase of parenthood for every newbie parent. Television stars, Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava are also going through the same phase as they have welcomed a new member in their lives, a little angel, Mehr Karan Patel. On December 20, 2019, the life of Karan and Ankita had changed when they had first seen the face of their little bundle of joy, Mehr. The proud parents have shared the good news with everyone through social media. Revealing the name of their little one, Karan and Ankita had written, “All your blessings made our world beautiful, a heartfelt thank you to all our well-wishers .... #RabbDiMehr.”
Now for the first-time post delivering her child, Ankita Bhargava have shared the details about her secret pregnancy and what is the first gift that Karan bought for his little daughter, Mehr Karan Patel. Talking about how Karan’s life has changed after welcoming Mehr, Ankita revealed, “Karan spends a lot of time with her. Mehr has already started responding to him as he keeps playing with her and even calms her down when she gets hyper. Karan ki baat maankar so bhi jaati hai. As I can't step out of the house much it's Karan only who is shopping for her. It has become like a routine for him. Since the day Mehr was born, Karan has been on a shopping spree for her.”
Revealing what was the first thing that Karan bought for his lovely angel, Mehr, Ankita said, “Since we didn't know if it's a baby boy or a girl, we hadn't shopped anything. So, the day she born, we made her wear Karan's nephew's clothes who was recently born. But those were boys’ clothes and the moment we got to know ladki hui hai, Karan went to a shop and got her a baby pink colour body suit, undies and swaddles.”
After suffering a miscarriage last time, Ankita Bhargava and Karan Patel had kept her pregnancy a secret for a very long time before finally sharing the good news. Ankita shared the reason behind the same and said, “Yes, after my past experience, which was really hard, I realised that kuch cheeze apne paas hi rakhni chahiye. Samajhdaar insaan wahi hai jo har cheez khulkar na bataye. After welcoming a little bundle of joy in the world, a couple changes completely and start to take things from a different angle. Talking about how she and Karan will be as parents, Ankita revealed, “I think Karan and I will be very chilled out parents and I feel Mehr is also like us. We will not burden her for anything or try to control her unnecessarily. But yes, the instinct of parents will be there. We will always protect her just like any other parent.”
Karan Patel had confirmed the news of his baby girl’s arrival in a statement to the media, which could be read as "Am numb overjoyed and a little intimidated the only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go, Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who has loved us and continue to bless us." Ankita Bhargava's father, Abhay Bhargava had also stated, “We are elated with the arrival of our granddaughter. Both the families — the Patels and the Bhargavas —- wanted a girl and God has blessed us with one. This is the best New Year’s gift we could have ever asked for.”
Describing the role, he is playing in taking care of his newborn angel, Karan Patel had continued, “She is troubling Ankita the most for now and father ka role thode time ke baad start hoga. I have learned how to swaddle her and change diapers, which I do when Ankita gets really tired.
