Power couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in 2018, and since then, they have been setting relationship goals. The couple delighted their fanbase as they shared the good news of expecting their first child. For the unversed, their to-be-born baby is due in September 2024. Days after Deepika and Ranveer's wonderful announcement, the former’s sister, Anisha Padukone, expressed her heartfelt emotions about the same.
In a recent interview with MyFitness on iDiva, Anisha Padukone opened up about her feelings on the impending arrival of her sister, Deepika Padukone and brother-in-law, Ranveer Singh's first child. Expressing her excitement for this new chapter in their lives, she said:
“Great, great, first time feeling.”

Moreover, Anisha also revealed who among the family members will spoil the baby the most. She hinted at the possibility of indulging the child herself and mentioned that an abundance of love and attention is waiting for the newest member of their family. When Anisha was asked who she believed would spoil the little one the most, she said:
“Spoil. It’s a tough one. I want to say Ranveer but I have a sneaky feeling that my parents are also gonna be right up there.”
On February 29, 2024, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their respective IG handles and shared a collaborative post to announce their 'good news'. The couple left their entire fanbase into a meltdown as they revealed that they are going to be parents soon. The photo featured cute drawings of baby stuff, including a bib, shoes, hat, button, and clothes. Atop the picture, the couple penned a note and revealed that their baby will arrive in September 2024.

The soon-to-be parents, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh jetted off to Jamnagar to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding soiree. While Deepika donned a white-hued knitted oversized sweater teamed with matching palazzo pants, Ranveer opted for a white-hued sweatshirt with matching pants and a cap. The duo looked the happiest as the paps congratulated them.
