Animal was the third-highest-grossing film of 2023, after Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan. The A-rated film was made on a budget of Rs. 100 crore by renwoned filmmaker, Sandeep Reddy Vanga. After the commercial success of his last film, Kabir Singh, Sandeep Vanga's Animal broke all records as it managed to collect more than Rs. 900 crore worldwide.

From Ranbir Kapoor's exceptional acting in the roles of 'Ranvijay Singh' and 'Aziz Haque' to Bobby Deol winning hearts as 'Abrar Haque' to Triptii Dimri stealing the spotlight and Rashmika Mandanna making a mark, Animal was definitely something fresh on the table for cinema enthusiasts. The film was released in theatres on December 1, 2023, and viewers will be able to watch Animal on the famous streaming platform, Netflix, from January 26, 2024, onwards.

Well, the fame and recognition that Saurabh Sachdeva continues to receive after Animal's gigantic success was due for a very long time. After completing his schooling, Saurabh Sachdeva joined legendary theatre director, Barry John acting school, Barry John Acting School in 2001. Since then, he has not only learned the core values of acting but has also worked with a series of theatre groups.

Slowly and steadily, Saurabh's interest started shifting more towards teaching from acting. As a result, he joined Barry John Acting School in 2005 and went on to teach students acting for the next 15 years.

Saurabh Sachdeva once revealed he never respected his school teachers

Once, in an old interview, Saurabh Sachdeva was asked about his shift from acting to teaching. Answering the question, he shared that acting was never his passion in the first place, and once he started teaching, the process of teaching acting to students instantly became his favourite drill. He said:

"Acting was never my passion but after years of living in it, teaching acting became my favourite drill."

Further, in the same interview, Saurabh Sachdeva was asked whether he had ever thought of teaching in schools. To this, the actor clearly stated that he was always clear in his life that he never wanted to work in schools and citing the reason behind it, Saurabh said that he never respected his school teachers. Sharing how he was scared and knew that teaching in a school is a big responsibility, which was why he never went in that direction. He said:

"I was very scared. I thought teaching was a very big responsibility and I never respected my teachers in school. I only respected Barry Sir because of the way he was treating me otherwise I always thought the teachers were teaching the subject, not me."

Saurabh Sachdeva had dyslexia during his childhood

In the same interview, Saurabh Sachdeva also revealed that during his growing years, he had symptoms of dyslexia. Sharing how it was difficult for him to convey his emotions and admitted that because he had dyslexia, he suffered in his education, too. The actor also admitted that when he got the opportunity to work with dyslexic children, he was so happy to see them express themselves. In his words:

"When I was diagnosed with dyslexia, I was struggling with my own education because I couldn't express myself at a young age. Just because of my lack of vocabulary and words, I always feared that I would be shamed or guilty. When I got the opportunity to teach, I felt very happy seeing the students express themselves."
