Veteran actor, Anil Kapoor and his wife, Sunita Kapoor cannot stop gushing over the good news of becoming grandparents. Since their daughter, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her businessman-husband, Anand Ahuja had announced their pregnancy news, the soon-to-be nana and nani, Anil and Sunita, have started expressing their excitement and happiness of welcoming a new member in their family.
After dating for two long years, actress, Sonam Kapoor had tied the marital knot with her then-beau, Anand Ahuja, in a star-studded wedding ceremony. Starting from her gorgeous bridal trousseau to significant marriage rituals, every picture from their D-Day had taken the social media by storm.

On March 21, 2022, Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram handle and shared his feelings on the most exciting phase of his life. He expressed his emotions and announced that his happiness knows no limit as he is now preparing to welcome his grandchild. He wrote:
"Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life - GRANDFATHER!! Our lives will never be the same again, and couldn't be more grateful! @sonamakapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news!".
Soon after that, Anil Kapoor's wife, Sunita Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a heartfelt note to address how elated she is feeling after knowing about the good news. She stated:
"Of all the names I have been called am going to love being called NANI the best Yayy! Can't wait to be a NANI!!!".
A few hours back, taking to their respective IG handles, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her hubby, Anand Ahuja had shared a series of pictures and had delighted their fans with their pregnancy news. In the photos, Sonam had looked oh-so-gorgeous in a black monokini and had flaunted her baby bump. The much-in-love couple was sitting on a couch, and their happiness was evident on their faces! Their note could be read as:
"Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can't wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022."

Soon after the announcement of the good news, many megastars of Bollywood took to Sonam and Anand's adorable Instagram posts and poured their love and blessings. Kareena Kapoor Khan commented, "Wohooooooo soooo happy for you both can't wait for the babies to play", Ekta Kapoor said "my Gemini veere ull b an awesome mom congrats", Madhuri Dixit Nene wished "Congrats guys". At the same time, Karisma Kapoor pored her heart and said, "Big congratulations to you both".
For the unversed, Anil Kapoor had met with his ladylove, Sunita Kapoor on the sets of Meri Jung. After a while, the couple had decided to take the plunge in 1984 and had become each others forever. They had welcomed their first child, Sonam Kapoor on June 9, 1985. In the latter stage of their marital bliss, the couple was blessed with two more children, Rhea Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor.
