Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleAnika Rashaun was an American reality television personality, podcast host, and dating coach. She rose to fame through her appearances in MTV's The Real World and The Challenge. She passed away at the age of 34 on October 1, 2026, following a year-long battle with a fatal ailment. Tragically, Anika got married to her husband, Kyle Walker-Rehn just seven months before her demise.
The couple didn't even get the chance to enjoy their married life and their first anniversary. Amid the heartbreaking news of newlywed Anika Rashaun's passing, netizens revisited her last post featuring her hubby and shared their condolences with him and his family.
Anika Rashaun's last post featuring her husband, Kyle Walker-Rehn has resurfaced after her death
Anika Rashaun was not very active on social media in the months leading up to her death, most likely due to the physical toll her ailment and its treatment had on her. Her last post was on March 3, 2026, a Cosmopolitan feature on when to say 'I love you' in a new relationship. Sharing snippets from the write-up, Anika called it a "great read." Just a few days before, on February 27, 2026, she shared her final post featuring her husband, Kyle Walker-Rehn.
The post was an ode to one of the couple's happiest days. It was a sneak peek of a major milestone in their relationship- their wedding day. Anika and Kyle got married on Valentine's Day in San Marcos, California, and she shared the joyous news on Instagram two weeks later. She called the celebration of love "a dream" and said they couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. She captioned the post as:
"Mr. and Mrs. Walker-Rehn 2/14/26. Two weeks ago I married my best friend. The day was literally a dream filled with the best moments. Kyle and I couldn't imagine a more perfect day! Just some teasers, more pictures to come!"

Anika called Kyle her "best friend" turned husband and said the carousel of pictures from their big day was just a teaser, promising more glimpses from the ceremony, which unfortunately didn't happen. In the first photo, Anika Rashaun and Kyle Walker-Rehn are seen walking hand in hand and waving at their wedding guests just after their nuptials.
The other two photos showed Anika posing solo with a white flower garland, while Kyle hugged her from behind as the duo flaunted their gorgeous wedding rings. The bride's outfit seemed straight out of a fairytale. Anika looked stunning in a semi-see-through, strapless mesh gown paired with a long veil. The couple looked elated in the photos, hinting at a fun-filled, lively wedding.
Anika Rashaun was counting down the days to her marriage with Kyle Walker-Rehn

Anika looked forward to the day for a long time, which is evident from her previous post. The reality TV star posted romantic photos with her husband in November 2025, likely from their engagement. The images show the couple in a picturesque location, holding hands and kissing passionately. In the caption, Anika shared that she couldn't wait to marry Kyle. She wrote:
"99 days till I get to marry my person. This year has been everything but normal, so many ups and downs and changes we had to endure and work around, but I'm happy that the one thing that remained the same was our love for each other. I can't wait to be your wifey. I love you forever."
The couple's dream of a forever together was shattered by Anika's demise following a years-long battle with stage 4 breast cancer. The tragic news was publicly confirmed in late October by her close friend, Tiarra Ramos and former co-star, Theo King-Bradley. Following the public announcement of her death, tributes poured in from loved ones and fans.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Anika Rashaun's family as they cope with her loss.
