Hollywood's former 'IT couple' are currently embroiled in an asset-related suit. The actors are fighting over Château Miraval, a French winery they jointly purchased in 2008. Recently, the controversy intensified after their eldest son, Maddox Chivan Jolie, legally appealed to drop "Pitt" from his surname. Brad and Angelina's youngest, a set of twins, Knox and Vivienne are set to become adults in 2026, after which their mom will reportedly step into a new phase of life.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's 10-year-long custody row is officially coming to an end. It will take place after their twins, Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt turn 18 on June 12, 2026. While the former couple finalised their legal divorce settlement in December 2024 after an eight-year battle, the ruling on their children was the last string of connection between them. Angelina was granted primary custody of the kids while the F1 actor had visitation rights regarding his minor children. However, as they turn legal adults this June, the residual custody arrangement will become void. After that, Angelina is set to focus on a new chapter of life.

Angelina is preparing to sell her USD 30 million Los Feliz mansion and move away from Los Angeles. Insiders noted that she lived there full-time only because of the court-ordered custody and visitation arrangements with her ex-husband. Recently, a source close to the Couture actress told RadarOnline that she has done an amazing job at parenting and will continue to support her six children as they establish their independent adult identities. However, after years as a hands-on mom, she was set to move overseas to focus on herself and plan a new life. The insider stated:

"Angelina's devotion to her kids is no act. She has been a hands-on mom for decades now. The move overseas is being carefully planned to finally give Angelina some time to herself to figure out what the next part of her life is going to be."

The source further stated that Angelina will need some time to figure things out and build a new life abroad. However, amid that, she will also be giving love another chance. She is allegedly very much open to finding a new partner and living a happy life with him. According to the insider, the actress decided after careful thought and planning. Regarding whom she wants to spend her new phase of life with, the source claimed that she is looking for someone who isn't an actor. The insider was quoted as saying:

"Time alone is going to be important, but of course, she'd also like to find a new partner to share the next chapter in her life, preferably someone who's not an actor."

While the actor has not made any public statements himself, the reports from close sources included details about his severe anguish over the growing estrangement with his children. Insiders reveal that Brad's biggest fear is being permanently cut off by his kids.
