Neena Gupta has been winning hearts yet again with her 'out of the box' performance in the hit film, Lust Stories 2. It won't be wrong to say that at the age of 64, Neena is enjoying the second innings of her life. The veteran actress never shied away from asking work, and flaunting her bold personality on-screen. After the success of her latest film, Angad Bedi expressed his desire to romance her on-screen.
Recently, Angad Bedi expressed his desire to romance Neena Gupta in a film. He shared his wish with IANS, and called Neena an amazing actor. He also expressed that in Lust Storeis 2, they worked together, but it was a different relationship. However, he would wish to romance her for any project. He was further quoted as saying:
"I am sure it won't be your regular romantic story so I am looking forward to any such project. I have watched many of her older projects and I feel she is one of the very underrated actors we have in the industry who is slowly getting her due credit."

Neena Gupta has been a part of the film industry since the 1980s. While she has seen huge success, she has also seen tough times, when she didn't get her due credit. A while ago, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Neena recalled an uncomfortable moment that she witnessed during the early days of her career. She shared that a director gave her maa-bhen ki gaaliya.
Neena revealed that she had a small role in the film and which was cut down on the day of the shoot. When she mustered the courage and talked to the director about the same, he started abusing her in front of everyone. She was quoted as saying:
"I was doing a film and I had a very small role in it. I just had 2-3 dialogues in a scene. I was in a larger group. On the day of the shoot, those dialogues were also cut. I had no role left. I went up to the director and said ‘I just had two lines and you’ve cut those as well.’ He gave me maa-behen ki gaali in front of everybody. Vinod Khanna was there, Juhi (Chawla), everybody and I just started crying because he abused me in front of everyone."
Neena Gupta laughed off the whole episode that happened with her and added that this doesn't happen in today's time. She added that it might happen, but at least no one gives maa-bhen ki gaaliya.
