Arthana Binu is a famous face of the Malayalam film industry. The actress is popularly known for her roles in the movies like Shylock, Mudhugauv, and more. The actress made her debut in 2016 with the Telugu movie, Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu. For the unversed, Arthana is the daughter of the divorced couple, actor, Vijayakumar and Binu Daniel. However, recently Arthana took to her IG handle and dropped a shocking video of her father, who, according to the actress, has been creating chaos in her family despite him being divorced from her mother.
Taking to her IG handle, Arthana Binu dropped a video wherein we can see the actor, Vijayakumar breaking into the actress's house and then escaping by jumping from the wall. Along with the video, the actress penned a long caption and shared the details about the incident. In her caption, Arthana wrote that her father and mother had been divorced for a long time, and since then, they have been staying in their maternal house along with her sister and grandmother, who is 85 years old.

The actress further mentioned the details of the incident and stated that her father, who is an actor, barged into their home, and since the door was locked, he was threatening them through the window. The actress revealed that she spoke to her father as he was threatening her sister and grandmother to kill them. On the same note, Arthana Binu stated that her father threatened her to stop acting in movies. Elaborating more on the same, Arthana claimed:
"He has been trespassing for years and there are multiple police cases which we have filed against him. Today, he barged into our compound and since the door was locked he was threatening us through the open window. I spoke to him when heard threatening my sister and grandmother to kill them. He also threatened me to stop acting in movies and that he would go to any extent, if I don’t obey."

Further, in the note, Arthana Binu mentioned that a case about the same is already going into the court which she and her mother have filed against the actor for trespassing, intruding, and creating problems in her ex-wife and daughter's workplaces, and Arthana's sister’s educational institution. Arthana also claimed that another case is going on against her father, which she filed against him to retrieve the money and gold her father owes her mom.

Further, in the note, Arthana Binu shared her passion for acting. Talking about the same, she mentioned that her father had initiated a legal complaint when she acted in Shylock. The actress stated that to save the film from being shelved, she had to sign an official legal document indicating that she acted in the movie by her own will. An excerpt from her long note can be read as:
"I am acting in movies only to my will. Acting has always been my passion and I will continue to act as long as my health permits me to. Whenever I act in a Malayalam movie he filed case to stop me from acting. Even when I acted in Shylock, he filed a legal case ,and to prevent the movie from being shelved I had to sign an an official legal document stating that I acted in the movie at my own will. There is more to write but the word limit permitted for the caption doesn’t allow me to. There is also an ongoing case against him which we filed to retrieve the money and gold he owes my mom."
