Amidst a series of celeb weddings, one wedding that came as a pleasant surprise for everyone is of MTV Roadies Xtreme gang leader, Neha Dhupia and Tiger Zinda Hai actor, Angad Bedi. By Neha’s self-proclaim, she made the ‘best decision of her life’ by marrying her best friend on May 10, 2018. The suddenness of Neha and Angad’s marriage created speculations about Neha being pregnant, which might be the reason of them rushing into marriage. In their first interview post-wedding with Bombay Times, newly-weds Neha and Angad talked about their life after marriage. Though they didn’t talk about the conjectures that are doing the rounds of Neha’s pregnancy, Neha and Angad shared how their wedding fell in place. The couple revealed, “The decision to get married was taken overnight.” Neha further said that she met her mother-in-law i.e Angad’s mother two days before the wedding and she asked her if she was sure of getting married to Angad.
Neha informed that only their close friend, Karan Johar knew about the wedding and said, “Less than a week before we got married, I was chilling in Karan’s house and I told him I was ready to get married. He said it was a great idea and went back to checking posts on social media! Speaking about being a commitment-phobic person, Angad remarked, “I was a commitment-phobic person. I never thought that I will settle down. Marriage has happened beautifully for me.” Women are often asked how they will strike a balance between their professional commitments and personal life post their marriage. Angad Bedi further continued, “When we are in that situation and those sacrifices have to be made either by her or me, we will do it. Work is important, but there is a life beyond that. Kids are an extension of you and it is important to raise them well. If that requires sacrifice, even professionally, then we will do it. When you have a child, the happiness that it will give you cannot be matched by any number of zeroes on a cheque. Refuting the pregnancy rumours of Neha Dhupia, her father Pradip Dhupia opened up to Dainik Bhaskar and was quoted as saying, "No no.. there is no such thing at all. Since the two got married early, people are thinking otherwise. But there is no such thing. People will keep talking about things and spread rumors as per their wish."
