In fact, they have started taking pride in it as their daughters are the most precious gem of their lives. And Bollywood actor, Angad Bedi is no different! From tying his daughter's laces to holding her when she falls, Angad is a perfect example of 'papa bear' on his daddy duty. Angad Bedi and his wife, Neha Dhupia had made headlines with their 'hush-hush' wedding. And then came another surprise when Neha announced her pregnancy. On November 18, 2018, the duo was blessed with a baby girl, whom they lovingly named, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. However, they kept the paparazzi away from clicking their angel's pictures.
Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Angad shared that it is a conscious decision, and said, "I am not a big fan of seeing kids on social media. It is not important. I feel that what is happening today is taking away the innocence of the child. Maybe I am wrong with the way I think but then I think where is their innocence, they know everything."
He further added, "A child should be a child for as long as possible. They should explore so many other things. It is not a competition. Life is not about competition. I think beyond a point, parents put too much pressure on the kids. We like to keep Mehr's pictures little private because everyone's pictures start coming on social media and then there is so much pressure on the kids, the paps flash in their eyes and I am not comfortable with it. Their rate cards are made depending on how much their pictures work, I am not up for this. We don't want such kind of a projection for our daughter." In an interview with Bollywoodlife earlier, Angad had shared how his daughter has brought him luck. He had stated, "My daughter Mehr is our (his and Neha Dhupia's) lucky charm. In fact, since the day she has come into our lives, our lives have changed for the better. She has brought a lot of luck."
The actor had also shared that how he and his wife balance out their personal and professional life. He had revealed, "Neha and I, both have made a conscious decision to spend every waking hour with Mehr. We wake up early and spend as much time with her before we set off for our respective work. She’s turning out to be a very social child which is very heartening to see. She loves outdoor activities like going for a swim. She loves the water. We try and organise as many play dates for her as possible. She’s a happy baby."
Earlier, In an interview with Pinkvilla, Angad had opened up about his daughter’s arrival, and had revealed, “I feel that Mehr Dhupia Bedi is my biggest achievement and I take full pride in being called her father. She has got the DNA of both me and Neha and I believe she is going to be a hardworking individual. She already has a strong mindset of her own, She has got strong likes and dislikes. We have got two nurses to take care. She has a fondness for one and complete disliking for the another. She is growing up and she is already 4.5 kgs. She is pulling height really fast. Neha is 5.9 and I am 6.1, we will definitely have a tall Mehr. My everything reloves around her and she has brought me a lot of luck.”
