US Marshals Service arrested them outside the James L Knight Center following an extradition request from the United Kingdom. The Tate brothers, who are already in the midst of defamation proceedings, are now facing several serious allegations, including multiple counts of rape, human trafficking, and sexual assault.
As Andrew deals with his current legal troubles, his other ongoing cases involving joint charges against him and his alleged girlfriend, Georgiana Naghel, have resurfaced.

Georgiana Naghel is a Romanian model, influencer, and businesswoman. She has been publicly linked to former kickboxer and influencer Andrew Tate as his girlfriend. She originally worked in a cage-fighting business owned by an associate of the Tate brothers. After getting associated with Andrew, Georgiana reportedly assisted him with his various online business ventures. While working together, the duo became romantically involved.
Georgiana and Andrew Tate's love story reportedly began around 2021 after he relocated to Bucharest, Romania. He frequently featured her in his social media posts, once even describing her as "the only woman he trusts." Reports refer to her as his close confidant and partner in crime, which turned out to be quite literally true when she was arrested alongside her boyfriend.
In December 2022, Georgiana was arrested by Romanian authorities with Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan Tate, and a former Romanian police officer named Luana Radu. At that time, media and prosecutors labeled Georgiana as one of "Tate's Angels" or "lieutenants." She was indicted on serious charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized criminal group with the Tate brothers. She was accused of assisting Andrew and Tristan to carry out their alleged offenses against women.
Georgiana Naghel's role in the Tate brothers' alleged criminal activities was controlling and managing their financial earnings generated from adult websites like OnlyFans. Additionally, she was accused of managing the women who were allegedly exploited by the brothers for financial gains. Georgina and the other two accused denied all allegations levied against them; however, as of July 2026, the charges have not been dropped.
Georgiana is still being actively prosecuted at the Ilfov tribunal in Romania, and so was the case with her boyfriend and his brother. Now that the Tate bros have been charged with additional crimes, the entire situation has gotten a lot messier. They have been making court appearances in Romania and are now required to attend trials in Florida as well, which is creating major logistical complications.

In addition to the ongoing charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate, the UK Prosecution Service reportedly authorized 38 new charges against them. It followed a Bedfordshire Police investigation into the alleged offenses of the brothers between 2010 and 2017 involving seven victims. Andrew Tate faced counts including rape, human trafficking, and child indecency, while Tristan Tate faced rape and trafficking charges. Those were in addition to the 21 charges already in place against the duo, authorized in 2025.
Hours after the arrest, the influencer duo's U.S. attorney, Joseph McBride, shared a public statement criticizing the latest prosecution, calling the new charges "filth and slander". Joseph argues that the new charges are nothing but planned-out tactics to derail the brothers' ongoing legal actions in the United States. A part of his statement reads:
"The world knows Andrew and Tristan Tate are innocent. Their enemies know it best of all. That is exactly why they have been attacked... This is a political hit ordered by a dying empire that fears two free men with a microphone more than it fears actual criminals walking its streets."
