Koffee With Karan is one of the most popular shows in India, hosted by the filmmaker-producer, Karan Johar. He is one such man who shares a warm bond with many big names in the film industry. Undoubtedly, manages to bring his friends on the show to roast them with their secrets. Once again, the chat show has started premiering and starting with Alia Bhatt revealing details about her wedding to Samantha opening up about her relationship with her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, every episode is simply unmissable.
For instance, in the show's second episode, Karan Johar could easily make Sara Ali Khan spill the beans about her new crush. Though the actress initially denied it but later revealed the name of the handsome hunk, Vijay Deverakonda. Soon, Vijay reacted to Sara’s confession. Taking to his IG handle, Vijay shared a screenshot of the show's promo and called Sara's confession cutest. Atop the picture, he had written:
“I love how you say "Deverakonda" Cutest. Sending big hugs and my affection.”

On July 28, 2022, Vijay Deverakonda along with his Liger co-star, Ananya Panday graced the popular show, Koffee With Karan's couch. At the beginning of the conversation, Karan asked the actor about his co-star, Ananya. To which, Vijay praised her for making him laugh and also for her performance in their film. However, he also mentioned that Ananya is a foodie and going on a diet with her is not possible. To this, Ananya quickly intervened, "We went for dinner and we ate properly."
Soon, Karan jumped in between and asked, "It was a date?" And when Vijay answered that they went on one date, Ananya asked him, "It was a date?" Vijay promptly added, "Kind of. You looked pretty, I dressed up." Karan got completely shocked by this and asked, "You went on a date with Vijay while you were dating Ishaan (Khatter)?". Finally, Ananya admitted:
"It was a friendly date."
Further, in the conversation, Vijay was also asked by Karan to reveal his relationship status. To this, the Arjun Reddy actor mentioned that only on the day when he would get married, he would announce his relationship status. And till then, he doesn't want to break the hearts of his millions of fans. He said:
“The day I will marry and have kids, I will say it out loud; until then I would not like to hurt anyone who adores me. There are so many people who love you as an actor and have your poster on their wall, in their phones. They give me so much love and appreciation; I don’t want to break their heart.”

Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda was rumoured to be dating his Dear Comrade co-star, Rashmika Mandana. The duo was also seen together in one more film, Geetha Govindam. However, it was their off-screen chemistry which gave rise to the speculations about them being in love with each other. Though none of them has admitted the same, their constant appearances together, and on social media posts for each other, give a sense of hope to their fans.
On the professional front, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's film, Liger will hit the theatres on August 25, 2022.
