Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur painted the town red for quite some time with their mushy moments. Although they never disclosed their relationship or openly admitted the same, their public appearances and romantic pictures from their vacations talked about something else. But for a few days, reports were again rife that Aditya and Ananya parted ways, courtesy of their solo public appearances. Recently, Ananya also went to see an IPL match with her friend, Suhana Khan and her family, while Aditya was spotted driving alone in the streets of Mumbai.
But now, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur seemed to have reconciled as they twinned in the same coloured ensembles at a recent event. On April 24, 2024, the makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial, Heeramandi, hosted a special preview of the film, and eminent stars from the film fraternity were invited to the event. In the same event, the two stars appeared one after the other, but their choice of blue-hued ensembles caught much attention. For the night, Aditya looked dapper in a suit, whereas Ananya stunned in a floral-printed velvet dress with a plunging neckline and a matching dupatta. She completed her look with soft glam makeup and bun hairdo.

Ahead of gracing the event, we also spotted Aditya alongside Ananya's daddy, Chunky Panday in Goa. It was when a Redditor took to the discussion portal and shared a picture of the two actors, as they got spotted in the same property, St Regis in Goa. The two actors posed with the same fan, which further suggests that the two of them were holidaying together.
However, earlier, Ananya Panday had taken to her IG handle and dropped a cryptic note, sparking rumours about her breakup with Aditya Roy Kapur. She shared a quote on her IG story which read that those who are meant to stay will stay, and the others will eventually move out of life. Such a message made her and Aditya's fans doubt that something went wrong between the rumoured couple.

But before Aditya and Ananya's breakup rumours have surfaced online, a report by BollywoodLife talked about their engagement. A reliable source close to Ananya and Aditya claimed that the duo's engagement is on the cards. The source further remarked that the alleged couple was all set to take their relationship to another level. According to the unknown person, Aditya and Ananya's chemistry has gotten stronger day by day, so they were thinking about taking the step. The source revealed:
“Ananya and Aditya are at the stable phase of their acting careers, they both are enjoying the appreciation that they have been receiving for their respective work. And on their personal lives too, Ananya and Aditya are extra it comfortable with each other and would like to take one step ahead in their relationship. Ananya and Aditya may get engaged very soon and we have no idea when they will make a formal announcement about it or just drop a bomb by sharing the pictures.”
