Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's youngest son, Anant Ambani left everyone mesmerised when he introduced his dream project, Vantara to the world. The 29-year-old businessman who dreamt of taking care of animals lived through his dreams and ended up creating an animal shelter on 3,000 acre-land in Jamnagar, which he named Vantara or 'Star Of The Forest'. But did you know that Anant turned into a balloon seller for his first-ever income? Yes! You read it right. On his 29th birthday, let us look back in time when he revealed the interesting story behind the same.
While scrolling through our IG handle, we stumbled upon an old video of Anant Ambani at an event and he was joined by the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. In the video, Shah Rukh revealed an unheard anecdote about Anant, when he was six years old and it's all things heart-melting. As the video began, Shah Rukh said that his first income was Rs. 50 and further asked Anant what was his first income. Anant replied that his response would make the actor shy.

Shah Rukh shared that when Anant was only six years old, he once went out for a walk with his grandfather, Dhirubhai Ambani, and his mom, Nita Ambani, on the Marine drive. However, Anant's grandfather brought him a bunch of balloons for Rs. 15. SRK added that when Anant went back home, he felt that the balloons were a bit pricey. He then told Anant to reveal the remaining part of the story. Anant said that he went to buy a packet of balloons with Rs. 2, and as the air is free, he blew all of the balloons with it and went on to sell them. Well, it speaks volumes about how brilliant Anant was as a child.

In an old interview with Simi Garewal on her show, Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, Nita Ambani talked about her then-little baby boy, Anant's love for animals. The businesswoman shared that when Anant was two years old, they were once passing by Crawford Market, and the little one saw some roosters and hens to be taken. Nita revealed that seeing the same, Anant told his mom that he wanted to take those roosters and hens home, and this was where it all started. Nita also shared that they had a lot of hens, roosters, goats, sheep, hedgehogs, squirrels, and hamsters living with them back then.

After the world’s largest animal rehabilitation centre, Vantara in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in February 2024, Anant sat for a short media interaction. At the same event, Anant said that his serving animals is nothing less than serving God and he does it from his heart and has no connection to business.
