The much-awaited moment is here when Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani will begin his forever journey with Radhika Merchant, daughter of Encore Healthcare’s CEO, Viren Merchant and his wife, Shaila Merchant. For the past few days, their mehendi ceremony pictures have been doing rounds on social media, and now the couple will have a Gol Dhana ceremony on January 19, 2023.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Gol Dhana ceremony will take place today, i.e, January 19, 2023, at 39, Altamount Road. The ceremony will begin from 7 pm onwards. Gol Dhana is a pre-wedding ceremony in Gujaratis, which is also called engagement. The term Gol Dhana, which means jaggery and coriander seeds will be distributed at the groom’s place.

The bride and her family visit the groom’s place with sweets and gifts, and the soon-to-be-married couple exchanges rings. After exchanging rings, Anant and Radhika will seek blessings from five married women.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have known each other for quite some time. However, it was in 2018 when Radhika Merchant came into the limelight for her performance with Isha Ambani and Shloka Mehta, during the former’s engagement ceremony. And since then, Radhika has been spotted at every event of the family, and we love her bond with every member of the family. It was when actor, Shah Rukh Khan teased Anant Ambani about Radhika on the stage during Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement bash, the rumours got confirmed.

It was reported that Anant had popped the million-dollar question to his ladylove Radhika at Shrinathji Temple, Nathdwara in Rajasthan. According to an official statement by Ambani's PR, the couple got engaged in the presence of their family and friends.
On January 16, 2023, a fan page of the Ambani family posted a picture of Radhika from her pre-engagement mehendi ceremony. Dressed in a fuchsia pink-coloured floral embroidered lehenga from the shelves of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Radhika looked gorgeous. She accentuated her look with a polki choker necklace, a pair of matching earrings, a maang teeka and a long haar. Radhika completed her look with dewy makeup, a fishtail braid adorned with artificial flowers and flaunted her henna-clad hands.
