'Wow' is the word that everyone uttered when they heard this song sung by one and only Mr Amitabh Bachchan for the film, Baabul. We had goose bumps when he had first heard this song and till date, it happens. Such is the warmth that Amitabh ji had put when he crooned his voice for the song written by Sameer. And it is no secret that he shares a very warm and close equation with his daughter, Shweta Nanda Bachchan. No wonder he must have sung this song keeping her in mind!
‘Daddy’s little girl’ is what defines Shweta and Amitabh’s relationship the best. Though Shweta is herself a mom today, but she will remain her papa’s pari for life and beyond. Similarly, yesterday (on June 26, 2019), Amitabh Bachchan took to his official Instagram handle and shared two lovely pictures with daughter, Shweta Nanda Bachchan. In one of the pictures, we can see Amitabh Bachchan dressing up his little angel, Shweta by helping her wear a swimsuit. And the other picture is of present time, wherein the father-daughter duo can be seen smiling. He captioned the post as, "Ek din aisi thi, aur pata hi nahi chala kab aisi hogayi." Recently, on Koffee With Karan, Shweta Nanda Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had appeared on the coffee couch. During the course of interaction, Abhishek had revealed that Shweta has always been their father’s favourite child. Junior B was quoted as saying, "Anybody can be in the room. Also, the ones who don’t know, on March 24, 2019, Shweta Bachchan Nanda had walked the ramp for designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. She was one of the showstoppers and the other two were Karan Johar and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. The fashion show was hosted by the Cancer Patients Aids Association (CPAA) to raise funds for cancer survivors. But what grabbed everyone’s attention was the fact that her superstar father, Amitabh cheered for her along with Jaya Bachchan and not just this, he had also turned into a paparazzi for his darling daughter.
Later, he had expressed his emotions and feelings on his personal blog and had written, "When emotions ride above all else. When pride overwhelms. When what you brought into this world excels above all else. When there is wonder and astonishment on the passage of time when there is none other before but this, or after then it is the love of the father and that moment when you recollect what your parents thought and felt when they did see you in such and not just them, but what you yourself thought of that moment when the pride you built, is demonstrated by your actions. On March 24, 2019, Amitabh ji had shared a throwback picture collage with Shweta, in which they can be seen making similar face. Along with the same, he had penned, "Daughters are the best!! When Shweta gave her book named, ‘Paradise Towers’ to her father as a token of love, he couldn’t be thankful enough. At that time also, he had shared his happiness with the world by sharing the glimpse of the ‘special’ gift, captioning the post as, "That moment when your daughter hands you her first authored book, it’s like when you first held her when she was born the birth of a creative talent .. and my prayers and blessings." And when her debut book became the bestseller, he wrote, "Nothing brings greater pride to a Father than this achievement of a DAUGHTER! daughters are special.
