Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. Even at the age of 81, the senior star hasn’t shown any sign of slowing down and has been winning hearts worldwide with his power-packed performances and never-ending zeal towards life. Apart from his exceptional prowess on the celluloid, he is also known for his luxurious lifestyle, glimpses of which are often found on social media.
According to a report by MoneyControl, Amitabh Bachchan has lent out his massive office space in Oshiwara, Mumbai, comprising of four spacious units to the eminent music giant, Warner Music India Limited. The properties are spaced out across 10,000 square feet in total. The annual rent for the same has been put out at Rs. 2.07 crores, of which Rs. 1.03 crores has already been paid to the actor in the form of security deposit. The rent agreement has been signed for five years.

Apart from all the lavish properties that he owns, his bungalow, Pratiksha is quite close to Amitabh Bachchan. However, back on November 24, 2023, the actor handed over the keys of this bungalow to his daughter, Shweta Bachchan. According to a report that was published by Economic Times, the transfer of the ownership was done through two separate gift deeds, each corresponding to a specific plot on which the bungalow stands. The report further stated that Big B paid a stamp duty of Rs. 50.65 lakhs for the gift deed for the transfer of the bungalow, which is valued at Rs. 50.63 crores.
Well, yet another facet which makes the bungalow, Pratiksha extremely close to Amitabh Bachchan is the fact that his late parents, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan resided in it. Moreover, in one of his previous blog posts, Big B even recalled that the bungalow’s unique name was suggested by his father, who was also one of the most remarkable writers of his time.

For the unversed, Big B is the owner of three lavish bungalows in Mumbai, named as Jalsa, Janak and Pratiksha. While the latter was recently handed over to his daughter, and the actor and his son’s office is located in Janak, there exists a special memorabilia in the Bachchan residence, Jalsa, that is dedicated to Big B’s father, late Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Back in 2022, through one of his blog posts, the actor had revealed how he has installed a bench in the shape of his father’s book, Madhushala, that is situated in his home, Jalsa.
