Television actress, Charu Asopa and her entrepreneur-husband, Rajeev Sen are making the headlines for their divorce rumours. According to multiple reports, the couple is going through a rough phase in their relationship, and the actress may opt for separation. She had celebrated father’s day on June 19, 2022, with her little girl, Ziana Sen, alone, as Rajeev did not accompany them.
On June 24, 2022, Charu Asopa had taken to her IG stories and had shared a cryptic post hinting at the reason behind her strained relationship with her husband, Rajeev Sen. In the thoughtful post, we could see a quote that read:
“Distance does not kill a relationship, but less conversation and late replies do.”

Amid divorce rumours with Rajeev Sen, Charu Asopa’s sasur ji, Shubeer Sen along with Sushmita Sen's daughter, Rene visited his doting bahu, Charu Asopa and his cutest grandchild, Ziana Sen. On June 28, 2022, Charu took to her YouTube channel and uploaded a fun vlog featuring her dearest father-in-law, Sushmita's daughter, Rene and her baby girl, Ziana. In the video, we can see Charu prepping delicious foods, including rice, egg curry and raita for her baba and Rene. Later, the video showed us Ziana soulfully playing with her dada ji, Ashok Asopa. Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Life, Charu was quizzed about her divorce. She had mentioned that every marriage goes through ups and downs, but the reports in the media make her upset. Revealing the reason behind her sadness, Charu had said that what would Ziana feel if she read these reports about her parents after growing up. She had stated:
“Honestly, every marriage goes through it ups and downs. We are like a normal couple. But then, every little detail is subjected to so much scrutiny from everyone. It is worrisome. I feel bad when I think about what will happen when Ziana ever reads all this stuff. You cannot erase anything that has come once on the Internet.”

In an old interview with The Times Of India in 2020, just a year after they had got married, rumours about their separation had started doing rounds on the internet. At that time, replying to questions about their separation, she had mentioned that she did not know if they were together. Charu had said that she had left everything to Rajeev to decide. In her words:
“I don’t know if we are together or not. All I can say right now is he is Delhi and I am here in Mumbai. I know only what you guys know. What will happen in future I am waiting for God to show me the path, I have left everything on him now. I think problems happen in everyone’s life, and we all go through ups and downs, it’s just that we are celebrities, so a lot is written about us. If there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I will surely see. And when I get to see it I will share it with everyone.”
