Ameesha Patel is currently basking in the glory of her recently released film, Gadar 2. The film is a sequel to the 2001 film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, co-starring Sunny Deol in the leading roles. But Ameesha also often faces brutal trolling from a section of netizens who criticise her looks. Once again, her looks were criticised when a video from her latest appearance surfaced online. In the video, she was seen looking her best in a pink printed suit paired with a yellow dupatta. She kept her look minimal and opted for thin eyeliner strokes, glossy nude lipstick and open tresses. She accentuated her look with hoops and looked pretty.

For the unversed, Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest in Los Angeles, California, at the mere age of 50 on June 25, 2009. The greatest dancer's death was caused by a lethal combination of sedatives and propofol intoxication reportedly. However, during the last days of his life, Michael used to look extremely skinny and depressed, with deep under eye dark circles and many others. However, Ameesha now being compared with the dancer in the video.
As soon as the video was posted on Reddit, netizens reacted to it in two ways. While a few netizens talked about her look, some also slammed the person who criticised the 47-year-old actress based on her ageing. One user commented, "It looks like her eyes have sunk deeper into her eye sockets and her hairline has move an inch towards heaven. Rest of her face looks like a wax statue of her former self." Another user penned, "She looks like your typical gujju aunty from Marlborough and headstone." In an old interview, Ameesha Patel had confessed her relationship with filmmaker, Vikram Bhatt, followed by London-based businessman, Kanav Puri. She also revealed the drawbacks in her life of being in the two relationships. She mentioned how her relationships were out in public, and it had taken a beating on her acting career. In her words:
"In this industry, if you're honest, honesty is not welcomed. And I'm too honest because for me life is black and white and you get what you see with me. I am someone who wears my heart on my sleeves. I think that has been the biggest drawback for me in my life. And definitely, the only two relationships that I ever had in public, they did take a beating on my career. And for 12-13 years, I was like, 'No men. Only peace. I want nothing else in my life.'"
