Reports claimed that Brittany was in three-foot-deep water when a 'monstrous' gator came out of the water and attacked her, completely ripping off one of her arms.
Brittany's boyfriend called 911 after the horrible attack, and when she was on the way to the hospital, she passed away from her injuries, as shared by the officials. The recent report has been dominating the headlines, and the question is whether or not Brittany and her companions did something to provoke the gator.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesperson Chad Weber recently revealed that Brittany's boyfriend and best friend were with him, and they stopped hiking and swimming. Brittany was bitten on both of her arms, and it was her boyfriend who called the rescue team. Chad Weber also revealed that there were no signs of the group behaving maliciously that could have provoked the alligator.
As per Chad Weber, the possible factors that might have triggered the attack could be low water levels and territorial behaviour. There were a few alligator attacks recently in Florida, and according to Fish and Wildlife officials, alligator mating season has been ongoing since April, making the gators aggressive and active.
NYP obtained the 911 audio, where a woman in a state of panic revealed that her best friend was bitten by the alligator and one of her arms was completely off while the other was barely attached. Another man, who was seemingly Brittany's beau, said in the call that she lost a lot of blood. Brittany's boyfriend held onto her as he tried to save her, and the alligator had loosened its grip after that. Reportedly, there were two alligators, one 12 feet and the other 13 feet. Both of them have been captured, and DNA samples were sent to the lab to determine which of these two alligators was responsible for the horrible attack.

Brittany Clark worked at a construction company and, apart from that, was a firearm enthusiast and motorcyclist. Brittany's IG is filled with photos that feature her love for motorcycles, pistols and guns. After the passing of Brittany, her father spoke to The Post, and revealed that the loss hit even more since it was just a few days ago that he had lost his mother as well.
Brittany's father shared that his daughter's boyfriend and best friend called him from where the incident took place, saying that they were trying to save the 31-year-old. On the other hand, her brother said that he was distraught and couldn't imagine the trauma his sister might have gone through. Brittany's brother further appreciated her boyfriend for being there with her and trying to save her.
