2017 can be now tagged as a year of weddings and baby arrivals, we are rejoicing the announcements of such happy news of our favourite Bollywood and TV celebs. After the power couple of the industry, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in a secret destination wedding, there is another wedding that took place in the industry.

We are talking about famous Bollywood singer, Alka Yagnik’s daughter Syesha Kapoor who recently got engaged to her beau, Amit Desai. Alka Yagnik got married to Neeraj Kapoor in February 1989, and the same year, they were blessed with their only daughter Syesha. Alka used to stay in Mumbai, while Neeraj lived in Shillong, so their daughter stayed with her mother.
Earlier, Syesha Kapoor was reportedly dating Indian Idol fame, Rahul Vaidya but the latter dismissed the rumours and said:
“I am following a strict diet these days and since she is a restaurateur, she tells me how to go about it. That’s why we end up meeting often. I am not dating her.”
Syesha is often spotted with her mother at various events and has grown up to a party lover. Syesha is into hotel and food industry as she didn’t want to take up singing as a career like her mother. Syesha believes that she does not have the gift of God like her mother does and also her mother was very understanding to not force her into the singing profession.
