Alia Bhatt gave fashion inspiration to so many young ranis out there with her jhumkas and thumkas. While netizens are grooving to her song, What Jhumka, they are also eyeing her pretty sarees. Alia and her pretty chiffon sarees are a major hit amongst the Gen-Z. For the unversed, the pretty sarees that Alia wore during the promotions were designed by Manish Malhotra, who later put them up for auction.
A week ago, Alia announced that all her sarees are up for sale so that it reaches every Rani. She also added that the amount generated from the auction will go directly to the charity, SNEHA. The organisation is known for preventive and promotive healthcare for vulnerable women and children. According to reports, Manish Malhotra's website crashed after the huge footfall. And to everyone's surprise, the sarees quickly sold out. The sarees were priced between Rs. 48,000 and Rs. 58,000.

During one of the promotional event, Alia shared an interesting anecdote about her wedding day. She shared that her real-life wedding with Ranbir Kapoor and reel wedding with Ranveer Singh had one similarity. Alia recalled in the film, Ranveer Singh went down on his knees, and it also actually happened to her during her shaadi with Ranbir.
Alia revealed that during varmala, he was lifted in the air, and no one was there from her side to lift her. She added after this, Ranbir came down on his knees and bowed his head down. And that's when she put the varmala on him.
