Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are hitting the headlines for their wedding rumours. For the past few days, paps and media are working round the clock to gather every minute detail related to the much-awaited wedding of the season. However, both Ranbir and Alia have not released any official details related to their wedding.
It was earlier reported that Ranbir and Alia will tie the knot on April 17, 2022, at RK house in Chembur as Ranbir's parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had got married there. And now, Alia Bhatt's uncle confirmed the news of the wedding and also shared some other details related to the same.

Alia Bhatt's uncle, Robin Bhatt, who is her father, Mahesh Bhatt's half-brother confirmed the news of their wedding to ETimes. Talking about the same, he shared that Ranbir and Alia will tie the knot on April 14, 2022, and the ceremony will place at Ranbir's Bandra home, 'Vastu'. He also revealed other details related to the pre-wedding functions and shared that Alia's mehendi ceremony will take place on April 13, 2022.
In an interview with India Today, Ranbir Kapoor's mother, Neetu Kapoor was asked about her son's wedding with Alia, the doting mother had reacted and said that even she is confused as the reports of their wedding have been speculated for a very long time. Revealing that people will get to know about the wedding, Neetu had retorted:
“Main to do saal se shaadi ki khabar sun rahi hoon..kya pata main yahan show host kar rahi hoon aur wo peeche shaadi kar lein...waise itni saari dates aa gaye hain hai k Main bhi confused hoon...media se roz naye dates pata chal rahe hain.. agar shaadi hogi pata chal jaayegi.”

Amid Ranbir, Alia's wedding reports, the wedding invite of Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor's reception had gone viral on social media. With the logo of RK Studio, the card had details of the wedding reception. The text on the card could be read as:
"Mr and Mrs Raj Kapoor request the pleasure of your company on the auspicious occasion of the marriage reception of their son Rishi (Grandson of Late Mr and Mrs Prithviraj Kapoor) with Neetu (Daughter of Mrs Rajee Singh)."
