The bubbly actress, Alia Bhatt is riding high on the personal as well as professional front. With so many projects in her kitty, Alia is busy fufilling her work commitments before taking a break. For the unversed, the gorgeousness is expecting her first baby with her hubby, Ranbir Kapoor, and she is looking foward to embark on this new journey of her life.
The mommy-to-be is ensuring to promote her upcoming projects and support her team even during pregnancy. On July 25, 2022, Alia Bhatt had graced the trailer launch event of her upcoming movie, Darlings. The mommy-to-be had looked gorgeous in a sunshine yellow dress with a necktie detailing. Alia had flaunted her pregnancy glow but her baby bump was not visible as she opted for a sleeveless balloon outfit. She completed her look with a messy ponytail and subte makeup. Indeed, she looked no less than a ray of sunshine!

For some time now, reports are rife that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting twins, and in a media interaction, when Ranbir was asked to say some truth and some lies about himself, he had said that he might be expecting twins with Alia. And his remarks had added fuel to the ongoing speculations. Now, in an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Alia Bhatt reacted to her husband, Ranbir's statement and clarified that they are not expecting twins. In her words:
“Oh god, f***, pardon my French. Singular. Ranbir was doing some joke on some reel and apni hi paed pe unhone kulhadi maar di. Clearly, humare paas dearth of info aur news hai toh yeh bhi ek news item ban gaya hai. The world should pray for health, happiness and goodness for me and Ranbir... Mujhe bhi baad mein pata chala."
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor had also opened up about the rumours of him and Alia expecting twins, and had shut them down for once and all. At a promotional event for his film, Shamshera, Ranbir was asked to talk about the rumour that had spread like wildfire. To which, the actor had given a witty reply that he cannot reveal out of his three statements which two were truths and which one was a lie. He had said:
“Don’t create controversy. They asked me to state three things: two truths and a lie. Now I can’t reveal what is the truth, and what is the lie.”
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is enjoying her pregnancy days to the fullest, and earlier, she had given her fans a sneak peek into her pampering session. A few days back, the mommy-to-be had dropped a picture on her IG stories, in which she could be seen enjoying a delicious Tiramisu dessert. In the aesthetic photo, we could also see a book lying on the table along with the delicacy with which Alia had satiated her pregnancy cravings. Sharing the picture, atop it, Alia had penned:
"Tiramisu and a book. Such a gram scene."
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in the upcoming film, Darlings!
