Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are one such duo, who are over the moon after their recently-released movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, was a hit at the box office. Alia and Ranveer are sakhis, and their friendship needs no introduction. Be it the KWK couch or film promotions, the two never fail to entertain us with their fun banter.
On August 1, 2023, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar made their first public appearance since their movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, was released. The trio was in the best spirits as they arrived to attend a show of their movie with their fans. Ranveer was seen dressed in a blue-hued hoodie with ‘What Jhumka’, imprinted in the middle. Meanwhile, Alia and Karan donned black-hued sweatshirts with 'Team Rocky Aur Rani' written on them.

In a video shared by a paparazzo, Ranveer was seen in a goofy mood as he posed with Karan and Alia when the paps spotted them. The video has now gone viral, as it showed Ranveer and Alia goofing around with joy before they headed for the screening. However, during the photo-op, Ranveer Singh accidentally pushed Alia, and the latter couldn't help but react. She was heard asking Ranveer:
“What’s wrong with you?"

During his stint as the host of the 67th Filmfare Awards, Ranveer Singh entertained the audience through his amusing banter and also talked about returning to the Filmfare stage after a gap of two years. Speaking of big fat Indian weddings, Ranveer shared that his whole family loved the idea of an intimately private ceremony hosted by Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. However, taking a dig at the wedding, he also mentioned that his Sindhi father loved the fact that the couple saved a lot of money on food. He said:
“Alia-Ranbir’s wedding was the best. It was small, intimate and cosy. They saved so much money when it came to food. My Sindhi dad is also very happy with their wedding.”

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released in theatres on July 28, 2023, and it marked Karan Johar's comeback as a director after 7 years. The family entertainer drama includes a stellar cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and many more. While Ranveer Singh plays the character of ‘Rocky Randhawa’, Alia Bhatt portrays the role of ‘Rani Chatterjee’. As per multiple reports, Ranveer charged a sum of Rs. 25 crores for working in the film, while Alia’s fee was Rs. 10 crores.
