However, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor never lost their cool and even after their marriage, whenever someone mentions their ex-partners, they handle the situation in a composed manner. For instance, back in 2019, even before their marriage, in an interview with Filmfare, Alia was asked about her then-boyfriend, Ranbir’s past relationships with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. In response to the same, Alia admitted that she had no problem with Ranbir’s past because it’s quite normal for a person to have past relationships. However, she also hinted at her relationship with Sidharth Malhotra and explained how she also has a past. In her words:
"How does it matter? It’s part of someone’s life and who cares. Aur main thodi na kam hoon."
Further, in the same interview, Alia Bhatt complimented her beau, Ranbir Kapoor, for being a nice human being. The actress admitted that it is not at all difficult to live with Ranbir, as Alia clearly stated that he is quite a simple person. Sharing how he is even better than her and stated that she wished to be like him as a person. Alia stated:
"Let me tell you he’s (Ranbir Kapoor) not difficult. He’s a supremely simple person. He’s such a nice human being that I wish I was as good as him. As an actor, as a person, as everything. He’s way better a person than I am."

After the birth of their adorable daughter, Raha, the doting parents, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt receive a lot of questions about parenting in their interviews, and they never fail to give us pure family goals. For instance, on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s celebrity talk show, What Women Want, Ranbir explained the kind of father he is and what sort of mother Alia is. Revealing how he is a cool father, and Alia is over-stressed about little things, Ranbir added that the actress is way too much protective of their baby girl, Raha. Sharing his thoughts about the same and what he thinks about it, he said:
"I think Alia is the over stressed parent. She is very stressful. So I will have to be that little bit of a calming factor. And I feel sometimes you're a little overprotective about children ki 'don't do this or that, don't meet people'. But I feel the more you are easy with it, a human being adapts, and a human being's immunity also gets better as they grow older. So I don't think we should be overprotective. Then I think the baby will suffer in the future. So I'm a chill dad that way."
