The 25-year-old starlet has dominated the entire country with her brilliant performance as Safeena in Gully Boy. Alia, who flew down to New Delhi to be part of the wedding, has given us some amazing ensembles that are perfect for all 2019 bridesmaids. However, it is her bridesmaid speech for her best friend, Devika that is making the internet gush.
In the video, Alia gave us a sneak-peak into her childhood, and said, “When I was younger, Bobby and I would play this game called actress-actress. And we made this pact that every time she was at her house she would be the actress and every time I would be at my house I would be the actress. But only that pact was never followed.” While the guests laughed their hearts out, her speech made the bride and her friends emotional leaving them in happy tears. Watch the cute video here:

Speaking about Alia’s love-life, she is currently in love with her long-time crush, Ranbir Kapoor. After the couple made a stunning entry at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding, their link-up stories started spreading like fire, but Ranbir soon confirmed the news of their relationship to GQ. Ranbir talked about the newness of the relationship and had said, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. Ranbir spoke about their relationship in detailed with Hindustan Times, and had stated, “I am in a happy, positive and beautiful phase of my life. But you can talk about your personal life only to a degree. Otherwise, it becomes the forerunner of your life and your work takes a back seat. There is always excited to know about someone’s personal life. But you want to give the relationship respect so that people don’t malign it in a gossipy way. It is something beautiful, sacred and really important to you, so you want to deal with it in a nice manner.”
Since the start of 2019, there are rumours of the duo to tie the knot this year but Alia denied the rumours in an interview with Pinkvilla. She had said, “I think people should now take a break. We have had two beautiful weddings last year. I think we can chill now, watch movies, work in movies, and rest can be seen later.”
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Alia talked about the relationship as an important part, and had said, “It's not as if a relationship is an achievement. It is just a part - and a very important part - of my life. It's seamless as well as beautiful, and should be celebrated when it has to be.
