Alia Bhatt recently attended the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, where she talked about her career, life and many more things. During the summit, the actress mentioned that celebrities are often asked about how they manage their life after having a kid. Elaborating more about it, Alia mentioned that it is a normal thing, and for ages, women have been working. Adding that working celebrity mothers get too much importance, she said:
"I think we as celebrities maybe get asked this question a lot as we suddenly build up celebrities with 'How has it been like working parent or working mothers?' But women work ya."

Further, in the same conversation, Alia mentioned that Raha's nanny has three kids of her own and yet she manages her work beautifully. The actress added that women across the globe have been working despite having kids and their responsibilities. Mentioning that even stay-at-home mothers work day and night, Alia said:
"You know, my nanny who comes to work has three kids of her own. Even the women who stay at home and work, that's work. Stay-at-home moms also working a lot. Khet main bhi jaate hain agar toh bacche ko saath main leke jaate hain ya school main drop karke. Matlab, bahut normal cheez hai woh. Working is a very huge part of our culture, we are workers. We work till the last breath."

Alia further added that parenthood is a difficult job, and one cannot be perfect at doing everything. Adding that it is important for parents to be just there for their kids, the actress mentioned that she doesn't like to leave her baby girl, Raha away from her even for a second. Alia added that she can't wait to cuddle her daughter and said:
"So, I think we're giving ourselves or celebrities too much importance. But I have to be honest and say that you can't do everything right. You can't be a perfect parent, you just have to be enough. Ofcourse, there are days when it's difficult for me to leave her and even for coming to Delhi today, I just want to keep kissing her face., I don't want to leave her for a second. But voh hai and touchwood she's okay. I'll go back and get all my cuddles and make sure she's not out of my sight."
