Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt is all set to become a mommy for the first time in her life, and she's counting the days for her baby's arrival. As the actress is currently in her last trimester, she is resting at her home while her family members are taking good care of her. For the unversed, Alia tied the knot with actor, Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022, and it was in June 2022 when she announced her pregnancy.
Earlier a report in Pinkvilla stated that the soon-to-be parents, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, will welcome their first baby by year-end. A source close to the Kapoor family revealed that Alia is expected to deliver a baby anytime at the November end or December first week. The report further added that the Kapoor family had enrolled their bahu, Alia's name at the H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Girgaon, Mumbai, ahead of her delivery.

On November 3, 2022, Alia Bhatt took to her IG handle and shared a beautiful photo with her mother, Soni Razdan and sister, Shaheen Bhatt. In the picture, the trio can be seen cuddled up together as they posed happily for the lens. Alia exuded a pregnancy glow and looked super happy as she was chilling out with her favourite ladies at her home. Sharing the picture, the mommy-to-be penned a caption, which can be read as:
"Appreciation post for these wonderfully weird ladies."
On October 25, 2022, Soni Razdan turned a year older, and her doting daughter, Alia Bhatt penned the most special wish for her. Alia shared two unseen pictures from her baby shower ceremony and penned a beautiful wish. The first picture showed Soni dressed in a blue suit and laughing her heart out, and in the second picture, the mother-daughter duo was seen sharing a candid moment together. Alongside the priceless pictures, Alia had penned:
“Happy birthday to the most incredible human - my safest place the reason of my existence & any kind of normal functionality today .. I think this year more than any other year I have understood soooo deeply how beautiful a soul you are and how much you have done for us as a family - you the the anchor of lives … and no amount of love will ever be enough ma.”
Meanwhile, on October 5, 2022, Ranbir Kapoor's family hosted an intimate baby shower for Alia Bhatt with their family and close friends. Later, the mom-to-be, Alia dropped some inside glimpses from her beautiful baby shower ceremony, and it was too adorable to be missed. From laughing her heart out to blushing while posing for the lens, Alia radiated her pregnancy glow in the best way possible. Alongside the pictures, Alia had penned:
"Just … love."
