For those unaware, Alex revealed in early 2026 that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Matt Kaplan. Now, a while ago, Alex took to social media to share the happy news that she has already welcomed the little one.

Alex Cooper revealed that she welcomed her first child with her husband, Matt Kaplan, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, with a photo. In the adorable picture, the little one can be seen resting in a matching fuzzy gray sweater and pants. However, it seems that Alex is choosing to maintain her child’s privacy, as she kept the baby’s face out of the frame. The podcaster did not reveal her baby’s name. While the podcaster also did not reveal her child’s gender, she added a blue heart emoji in the caption, leading everyone to believe that it's a boy.
Congratulations Alex, one user wrote, “I knew it was a boy! Welcome to your greatest adventure yet!” Another wrote, “Welcome sweet boy! Congratulations, mama.” A third user penned, “Congratulations, mama. Enjoy the bliss, but also hope you are doing well at the same time.”
Alex initially announced that she was expecting on May 17, 2026, via an Instagram post. Alongside a series of photographs with her husband, Matt, Alex could be seen cradling her growing baby bump. At the time, she captioned the photos, “Our family.”
Alex shared several updates over the course of her pregnancy with her fans. For instance, in July 2026, she revealed that she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, saying, “I'm not gonna cry on the internet because I've never cried on the internet, but when I tell you, I almost did.”
A month later, in August 2026, Alex opened up about her condition again, which arises when placental hormones cause insulin resistance. Alongside a photo of a lancing device, she wrote that her fingers hurt from the number of times she had to keep drawing blood “for those preg diabetes.” Alex Cooper added:
“I’m struggling ngl, and no, I don’t wanna put the one in my arm permanently; I’m too scared. Just for context, I could not get my ears pierced when I was younger, because every time I would go to the mall and they would come towards me with the needle, I would just faint.”

It is worth mentioning that Alex Cooper’s pregnancy news came just two years after she tied the knot with Matt Kaplan in April 2024, in Riviera Maya, Mexico. In an interview with Vogue, Alex admitted that their nuptials were everything that they wanted them to be. She said that it was emotional, heartfelt, and tailored to how they always envisioned their big day.
Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan began dating after they first met each other over a Zoom call back in 2020. She even hilariously gave him the nickname of “Mr. Sexy Zoom Man” on her podcast to initially keep his identity a secret. During a conversation with W Magazine, Alex once opened up about their relationship and how Matt’s support had a huge impact on her career. She said:
“Matt has always been my biggest supporter. It’s very attractive to have a man not be intimidated by a woman’s extreme success.”
