However, recently, Alabama shared that she is just disgusted with the body-shaming comments and thus, she is opting for the highest dose of Ozempic.

Posting a TikTok video recently, Alabama Barker shared that she has decided to opt for GLP-1 medication in response to the comments about her appearance. She shared that she has decided to get on the highest dose of Ozempic, adding that she doesn't consider it something worth being a role model for, but she would do the same.
According to reports, GLP-1 has become very popular in recent times, and it is an FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes. In her TikTok video, Alabama added that she would be skinny, and so much so that people would not ask her to gorge on burgers. She expressed her annoyance over the constant criticism that she faces about her body and weight. Speaking more about the same, Alabama revealed:
"This is not very role model of me, but I’m gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic. “I’m going to become so skinny, you’re gonna tell me I need a burger, because the way that people body shame me is f---ing disgusting. I f---ing hate you guys, and I’m gonna get so skinny."
Alabama Barker talked about the buzz about cosmetic surgery
Alabama Barker has openly talked about the criticism she has faced over the years. There have been rumours that the influencer has opted for surgeries to achieve her desired look. Dismissing the buzz, Alabama, in one of her posts, revealed that people need to understand and accept the fact that she's naturally beautiful.
She further mentioned that, except for her lips, she has never done any cosmetic surgery. Alabama said the online criticism over her body and appearance has been painful to endure, and the best thing she could do was ignore it.
Alabama Barker, back in 2023, shared that the reason her 'weight fluctuates' is her health issues, including her autoimmune condition, along with thyroid issues. The influencer was tagged as 'catfish', and addressing it, she said that it would actually help her if people kept their opinions and comments to themselves. She further mentioned that she really hoped young girls who watch her on TikTok would not think there's something wrong with gaining weight. She said:
"There is a certain point where if your health is getting affected by it, that you need to change it, but no… That’s not the case for me, and I would appreciate it if you guys put yourself in my shoes."
